Julius ErvingSF | 6-7, 205lbs | 21 abcalegends.com/players/player199.htmPROS: He's Doctor J. Not sure you need much more "pro" than that. He does everything. The guy is a freak athlete and will be in the discussion of league's best Small Forward in 1-2 short seasons. He has a quick first step, he jumps out of the gym, he rebounds, he defends. His ability to grab rebounds will help cover up deficiencies in your frontcourt if you have a weakness there on the glass. He can defend both the post and the perimeter. CONS: Well, it would be nice if Julius shot the 3 better or had better handling/passing skills but I don't think giving up the ball is something you are expecting Dr Erving to do. While he is a solid to good defender in the post and the perimeter I think he could stand to see some improvement. OVERALL: Julius Erving is a franchise player - plain and simple. If you get a Top 2 pick and he's there you need to take him. He's an elite player at a tough position to fill. It's a no-brainer. The only question is if he goes ahead of Moses who is a big and is a little younger. Tough call. PROJECTION: 1-2

Julius Erving SF 6'7 205lbs 21 Pros: "Dr J" is an athletic freak of nature. He can jump out of the gym, if for some reason you'd like that of him. Endless potential to attack the rim and collect "And 1's" with great free throw ability. He will be a mismatch nightmare for almost all of the Small Forwards in the league with his ability to get into the post for rebounds and the speed to start a fast break with his above average hands to boot. Nothing outside of injuries should slow him down with his raw ability. Cons: I guess his passing could be wanted to be better. Any kind of complaint is going to be knitpicking with this guys ability. He has the potential to be a good, but not great perimeter defender so you need to hope for an overachiever there. Overall: You can gladly build a team around Dr. J and hopefully he goes somewhere where he won't go to waste Bailey Howell style. He will most likely be top pick, or worst case 2nd. He'll be an All Star most seasons and a dunk champion one day. Projection: 1 or 2
