Dave Bing
PG | 6-3, 185lbs | (22)

PROS | Dave Bing has the potential to be a high quality starting Point Guard in the league. There isn't a real weakness in his game (that isn't a downfall of every other Point Guard). He does everything well - inside, outside, handling, passing, defending.. everything. He has good size for a Point Guard (6'3") which should make him even more difficult to handle on offense or beat on defense. Seriously is there anything to not like about him? Should be noted he's not as old as some of the other top prospects as the same position.
CONS | Well.. if there were ANY complaints it would be that he doesn't rebound well and his current skill level doesn't match his potential. Some would call that "having potential" but its nice to have that potential already realized a little more. He's maybe not a "creator" but he is a "distributor" and that's good enough for most teams.
OVERALL | He may not have the epic upside of a few other members of this draft class but for where he'll be picked he will be a good value player. When you can get a guy who fits virtually every system it won't be long that he'll sit on the board. Dave Bing is the best pure Point Guard prospect in the draft but that doesn't mean he'll be the first one taken. That distinction may go to Earl Manigualt who is more of a scorer/defender but less a passer. Maybe Bing is Terrell Brandon and Manigault is Iverson.
PROJECTION | 8-9
