Boston accepts: The 2nd was just going to hog up a little cap, and Caldwell Johnson has played a grand total of five minutes this season. In return, I get a guy with surprisingly good shooting efficiency and range for only $4M a season who also happens to be a somewhat valuable trade chip. So, you know. I'd be dumb NOT to.
Also: anything to help Philly get his 2016 cap number down to ZERO.
