I don't love this for Toronto.
I'd have kept Boozer myself.

I think Toronro got a ton for Boozer but I'm not sure I like it for him. Time will tell I guess.

Yeah I don't understand trading for two PGs (both of who will need to be PAID) when you already have Cousy.
I'm liking this deal less and less for Toronto.

Yeah, he got the TALENT back but he certainly has to make another trade or two.

I'm just not sure what kind of value Ivo or Beckman have at this point.
Joe's been trying to move them for a while.

This might be the most ridiculous deal I've ever seen...we have major pieces flying everywhere seemingly helping no one. From a pure value standpoint, I think Toronto might win, but it isn't like he couldn't have gotten some young pieces that actually made sense for Boozer. This is just a mishmash of talent with no rhyme or reason.

VOID ... LULS... Toronto almost 7 Mill over HC. (almost 8 due to his HC being 79 Mill).

Well, that's what happens when you deal 100 mil in contracts at 1 AM and one of the parties is likely hammered...

Looks like things got sorted out by adding another big name player with another big contract into the pile...that's what this deal needed to make sense for both teams.

Have fun people. Make trades.

Hey, you are the one who put up the thread...can't blame people for being honest with their responses. We all like to have fun...but we are also trying to win (or are trying to lose and put ourselves in better draft positions every year if we are Craig), and I don't see how this trade does that for either team. Neither has anyone else who has commented. I guess that is the point. I might trade more than anyone...but you'll never see my reason be "blah, I'm bored so..."

Lol definitely not blaming you for your answer. And my reason for the trade is not just being bored - you know better than that. I absolutely believe I have a better team now than I did before. I could be wrong of course, but that's fine.

I wanted to sign Booz to the 20 mill per year he originally asked for right away. He's the one that wanted me to slow down and negotiate it. I'm not sure you can call them panic trades when I make at least one a week. I like to trade, and I only trade if I think it benefits me. Of course I'm wrong a lot of the time but again that's the fun.
