PROS: Earl "The Goat" Manigault is an athletic specimen. No one jumps like Earl Manigault. There are rumors he jumped with a dollar in his hand and made change on top of the backboard. He is a top-level scorer who has the potential to be a franchise player. He is also one of the best raw perimeter defenders the league has seen in a while with a an eye for interrupting passing lanes to for easy steals that he takes the other way for a quick two. Nice feature to have out of you ultra-quick Point Guards.
CONS: Well, he may not like to share. He's not a great distributor but he is a fantastic talent. But he's probably been the best player on the floor since he was 7 so his belief that he can take on any challenge and make it happen might not be the worst if he actually can. Earl is also a little older for a rookie but compared to some of the rest entering the draft this year (Lemon - 24) he's not bad.
OVERALL: Manigault should be the first Point Guard taken for raw ability and flash alone. I think that makes a lot of sense because he is unique and only needs a little bit of help with his hands and court vision. All in all a pretty complete prospect. He'll have a long career in ABCA which is more than can be said about guys further down the list. He's maybe the second best talent in the draft but might go after Unseld because of Wes' size.
COMPARISON: Not sure there is one in the league currently.
PROJECTION: 2-5
