PROS: Wes Unseld will be an elite rebounder from the minute he steps on the floor as a professional in ABCA Legends. He is as strong as they come and will undoubtedly be able to play big minutes from the get go. Blessed with average leaping ability and some quickness for a big man, he'll be able to play the 4 spot without a problem. He is already a solid post defender and an above average passer (for any position). Being only 21 years old will certainly help his draft stock. He does possess the potential to be efficient from the Free Throw Line as well as contribute defensively with steals.
CONS: The glaring problem in Wes' game is his lack of scoring ability. He isn't a good FT Shooter yet and doesn't have the ability to score inside or from a jump shot much less having 3 point range. He is a banger insider but will never be an elite post defender and is not a rim protector.
OVERALL: Wes Unseld is about as unique of a player as you'll find at this stage of the league. He's a post player with playmaking ability in a league void of true playmakers. He will rebound and start the fast break with his amazing ability to outlet passes on the spot. If you draft Wes to be a key player, he will require a camp or two to get him there but if you're just looking for that undeniable starter, Mr. Unseld is your man. Double Digit rebounds will likely come from Day One on.
