Is this like the stoner that says pot isn't bad for you? Things are illegal for reasons still right? Rather than worrying about things like marijuana, maybe our government can put the focus on repairing the economy, fixing the unemployment rate, and reforming welfare. You know, the things that ACTUALLY matter. If not, it may be time to kick out a majority of liberals. Liberals are more likely to support marijuana reform than conservatives. Unless you're talking about the recent push of House conservatives toward respecting state marijuana laws, which is a case of states rights more than it's a case of marijuana reform. Also, thanks for evoking rule #25 of talking about marijuana reform: mentioning how "Y'ALL ARE JUST SHEEP BEING LED BY THE MAN, MAN."

I'm in the same boat as Madrid in terms of wanting to avoid the homoeroticism in the thread haha. But I work out frequently, 5-7 days a week. I do a heavy week of which consists of Chest/Triceps, Legs, Shoulders, Back/Biceps where I try and max out. The next week I'll go with lighter weight but try and focus on toning. I usually do at least 30 mins to 60 mins of cardio at the end of my lifts. Days where I don't lift, I just do an hour of cardio and some abs (when I'm not lazy haha). Sometimes I'll go weeks without a day off from the gym, but I'm not concerned about overtraining since I'm not working the same muscle groups more than once a week. Just curious: do you classify as an endomorph? If so, it's impossible for you to overtrain. Endomorphs bodies need constant motion which is why they NEVER tax their CNS to the point of DOMS. I think I'm a cross between Mesomorph and Endomorph.

I think I'm a cross between Mesomorph and Endomorph. Yup, I'd identify as such myself. Put on massive amounts of muscle in a short time, but if I stop lifting and doing cardio, I see noticeable changes pretty much right away. Hence, I do 2x a day...

I classify myself as an Animorph. HAHAHA these provided some quality literature in my youth And in terms of working out, I'm a very inconsistent and lazy with any form of lifting/core regimen. But I'm very much into constant cardio. I'll run, swim, and play sports every day of the week if I have time. Best sports for me have been soccer and ultimate. But I will say, swimming is the only sport that gave me any semblance of abs. And yes, they are gone now... probably forever. In other news, CHOCOLATE MILK is better for athletes than any sports drinks (gatorade, powerade, etc), and luckily I'm an addict.

Best sports for me have been soccer and ultimate. You play Ultimate recreational or as part of a league? I've never done it, but I work with a guy who represented the US in the world championships a few years back.

I play at the college level at South Carolina and once I have time I'll be playing at the club level hopefully with Truck Stop out of DC/Maryland. I'm just happy the sport is starting to get traction by USA Ultimate getting a contract with ESPN3.

Played soccer growing up in Germany but grew out of it upon coming to U.S. Tried it two or three years ago with friends after we started watching those ESPN televised soccer matches on ESPN and we 'played' for 15 minutes before getting bored. Took penalty kicks and none of us could score a goal. Everyone over kicked the goal posts lol.

So, who's into it? What's your routine, diet, etc? Currently on a massive cut (went on that foreverrrrrr bulk...) while using a mass building workout regimen (go figure lol). Seeing great results to the point from where in two weeks I put on ~8 lbs while actually cutting down fat massively. Dat der body recomp...some pretty freaky veins popping from forearms, shoulders, veins...and c***. For your time:

But you know when you hit that 3pm wall and you've gotta get out of work, hit the gym and have dinner with the girlfriend? That's when I usually slam a 5-hour energy drink. It's got zero sugar and it's packed with B vitamins. I just throw one in my gym bag and hit it a couple hours before my workout. If you're worried about the caffeine just remember it's got as much caffeine as 12oz of the leading premium coffee. You should definitely give it a shot.

Alright, got a question for the workout bros here.
I just re-joined at my local YMCA and want to shed my slight love handles and target my thighs a bit. However I have no clue what to do, where to start.
So I'm 6'4 220lbs, so ideally losing around 10 pds is what I'd like in the immediate future and well as built up some strength.
They have a lot of weight lifting machines, free weights, tons of bikes/elliptical machines so....how do I do this?

Its great for toning and building strength through your core muscles. Plus the classes are generally packed with babes.

The babes thing may be hard since my wife is with me most of the time while we go

Cardio. Get heart rate up to at least 130 and keep it there for 35 minutes to 45 minutes 5-6 days a week if possible but minimum of 4 days. I recommend either elliptical or bikes for cardio easiest on body.
Weights. High reps, short rests will build lean muscle quickly. I typically do 5 sets of 10+ (to fail) with low weight levels with 30 seconds rest between sets. I do a workout where i have two different routines that I alternate 6 days a week plus cardio all 6 days. Takes me about 75 minutes to complete the whole thing.

To pass the cardio I have taken to listening to podcasts off my phone while working out. At least I am entertained or learning something PM me if you want some ideas on work outs
