CSP Limoges sends: 1st round creation draft pick (24) 3rd round creation draft pick (24) 4th round creation draft pick (7)
Toronto sends: 2nd round creation draft pick (30) 3rd round creation draft pick (1) 2013 rookie draft 1st round pick
Wilt needs help. Moved up from the 60th pick to 24th - that's a significant increase in talent for Wilt's sidekick. I'm willing to bet on Wilt keeping that 2013 pick from being too good.

The more I look at this, the less I like it for CSP. Wilt picks up the help at 24 he was unlikely to get from the two wrap around picks at 60 and 61, but more importantly Toronto still will have decent enough help at 84 and 97 from the other two picks picked up that he could be a juggernaut with good enough drafting. Wilt Chamberlain, another pick in the top 25 and 4 total in the top 100...that 1st next year isn't looking all that impressive on paper right now. I went Toronto by a little only because we have no idea how these guys will turn out...in an established league, I'd probably have said a lot.

I kind of agree with Plossl here. There is a case to be made that Drew could have asked to keep his 4th in this deal.
I think 24 and 54 is worth 60/61 and a lower 2013 1st. Upgrading 30+ slots is worth that. No reason to add more on top.
And a 4th has good value in a draft like this. That's a starter.

I say Toronto by a little bit but at the same time I cant knock Limoges for the move. He gets two guys in the 2nd and could snag two decent young players to take a chance on instead of reaching at 24. He also indirectly benefits with his pick getting better and Toronto pick could be something decent (who knows how he will draft and how deep our first draft pool will be). Overall a good idea if you'd rather wait a season and feel out all the new stuff in the league. Toronto gets immediate value but you cant really compare it all that well.

No it's not a HUGE loss or anything like that. I wouldn't even say it is a bad move - we don't know how this will play out. One ACL sprain to Wilt and Drew could have the #10 pick.
It's not a bad place to be, this is all just gut reaction. And seriously, we're talking a 4th. The was the smallest piece on the table, so all in all, not bad.

It's hard to figure out the value of this kind of stuff. Toronto probably won a bit, but I say it is so minor. I don't dislike it for CSP though, it makes sense on their end.

I said even for 3 most obvious reasons:
1) Nobody, including us who have played the demo and game since initial release, has a clue how the game will sim. 2) It makes CSP, on paper, the worst team and having the best shot at #1 in the next draft to get that stud. 3) No promise that rookie pick is good or bad; one wrong move or injury by Toronto gives CSP the best young team in the league with two top 10 picks!

Thanks for adding this chapter to the book of well thought out responses you've posted on this board. My personal favorites were the multiple entries on "wheres the index" and "main page " Way to stay consistent!
