Some kinks to work out here - but I like this team
Got Malone back on a very reasonable deal. Most players at his level/age are in the 17-20m range, he'll hit 32 making 15.5m

Lol of course the Spurs (3-5) get passed up by the Globetrotters (5-2) right after I trade for the pick. Come on Seattle. I'm rooting for you to get that 8th spot. Work your DC magic. Undefeated sim for me though with wins over Seattle (2x), Celtics, Globetrotters, and Warriors as solid-good wins Picks currently 8, 12, 19 in the draft and I think all 3 have the potential to be a bit higher if i'm lucky. Nearly half way through the season with the best record, two lotto picks, and another near lotto pick so I can't complain.

Of course, we are starting to climb up the standings for no reason at all.

Did you forget about the anti-tanking rule where if you finish in the top 3 you are auto moved down 3 spots in the draft? Basically if you have the: Worst record = 4th pick 2nd worst record = 5th pock 3rd worst record = 6th pick

But you were here when this was announced. It was announced in February which was season 12, you struck out in late season 14 sometime in may. Mightve just slipped your mind but yeah basically the 3 worst teams are ineligible from getting the top 3 picks. It's to discourage guys purposely tanking and not really giving any effort during the season. It's supposed to help the competitive balance of the league since no one will be going out of their way to be the worst team in the league.

Im not sure your right on the timeline, but ok, Im aware of it now. Yeah you're right, I was off slightly. You struck out in late April not May. London announces the rule So - the committee has been looking at curbing tanking for seasons now. We've debated a lot of options and we've settled on a new policy. Starting next season ( not this draft) the bottom 3 teams will be ineligible to pick in the Top 3. Only teams prelotto ranked 4-16 can jump into picks 1, 2, and 3. CLARIFICATION - "The 3 worst records (regardless of who owns the pick) are prevented from getting into the Top 3" We'll see how that goes for a while. Your last DC post Announcement that you had struck out. Updated for Sim Eleven. We've got a lot of strikes this sim and sadly we have a strike out. BA picked up their third strike so Buenos Aires Boca Juniors BC is now vacant. Buenos Aires is eligible to come back Season 15 - Sim Eleven One more sim to go and a few 2 strikers so make sure you get your DC in. Like you said though no biggie, just wanted to make sure you were fully aware of the rule. I should probably bump the thread so that new GMs are aware of it.

We have a solid sim despite losing to the Titans and dropping our 117th straight game to the Knicks. The power poll hates us but we're back in the 8th seed at 20-and-13 for the year. New addition Tyrone Hill fits in well but now Alton Lister wants out of Harlem. We seem to have a lot of players who don't realize they stink, which is good for morale. Lets play some more...

5-1. Booyah. All the teams we beat (except Toronto) were playoff teams, and we beat them all on the road. Really good to see we beat London. Can't say that happens all that often.
...and we're still the 8th seed. Why does Eurasia choose to be insane the one year I try to win? We're pretty close with most of the teams in Eurasia, so hopefully we can keep gaining ground. Only thing I can think to do if giving Juwan Howard more minutes and JO fewer. Howard's taken a step back, but JO hasn't exactly taken a step forward.
LBJ won another Rookie of the Month. TC hit? Pft.
