Saw you guys didnt have a free agency thread going and I figured there deserved to be one. First day of free-agency is probably my favorite day of the year. Anyway a few random thoughts of mine.
I know the Cavs are trying to keep Rich Paul/Lebron happy but 5 Year/80m for Tristan Thompson is crazy when you already have Love/Mozgov/Varejao/LBJ splitting time at the 4-5.
Also I'm going to laugh really hard if Amir Johnson is the prize of the off-season for the Celtics. Ainge is going to have a real hard time selling the fan base on that.

I see where Paul Pierce is thinking about going back to Boston. Would be a excellent pick up for such a young team.
Looks like the Lakers blew it with Aldridge. He definitely looks like he's going to S.A. now, especially with the Spurs trading Splitter.
I like that my Pacers are after Ellis. We need a second scorer once George is healthy. Now, if only we could find someone stupid enough to take Hibbert off our hands.

Portland might take Hibbert if they lose LMA...lots of secondary assets like Hibbert are just waiting for the bigger dominoes to fall
Wes M. to the Raptors would be a really interesting fit

Bastards made us match that ridiculous contract way back when, so they should take him on for that final year.

I like the deal Indy gave Ellis, especially with some of the other deals flying around. We need him to score, which he does.

It'll be nice having some consistent offense for the first time in a while. I hope Vogel's willing and able to expand our offensive approach. No clue what we're going to do about our lack of bigs, though.

I forget where I read it but I heard Indy was going to play a much faster up-pace tempo next year and the Ellis signing seems to confirm that. It could be a hell of a deal too once the new cap is in effect.

Tristan is a good signing for the Cavs...overpaided but young raw, they have to win now. Anderson is injury prone so TT is needed. If both AV and Tristan can come off the bench that will be a tough front line for the Cavs. I also like the resigning of Iman.
We (the cavs) need to next trade Haywards 10 million contract for depth at the point and wing.

Tristan - masculine name, surname and toponym.
Old French transformation of the Pictish name Drustan, diminutive of Droust (possible translation of "rebellion", "turmoil"). Old French pronunciation is changed in tune with the Latin word "tristis" - "sad"
