Preseason is uploading.
The only big injury is Rik Smits being out 49 days.

1-5 with my giant lineup of:
PG: Brad Miller SG: Kurt Thomas SF: Eric Piatowski PF: Tyrone Hill C: Mel Turpin
Expected to go 0-6 with that but Brad Miller, Kurt Thomas and Tyrone Hill looked fun.
Tyrone Hill: 24.0 PPG | 9.9 RPG | 3.3 APG | 60.4 FG% Kurt Thomas: 18.0 PPG | 5.2 RPG | 1.5 APG | 1.0 BPG | 59.3 FG% Brad Miller: 13.2 PPG | 8.2 RPG | 7.7 APG | 50.7 FG%
Now time to get to the real games.

I have the best center / power forward 3 point shooting combo in the league. Both Vinko and Brick can fill it up from outside.

4-2 playing a lot of scrubs. I wanted to play Rik Smits a lot just to test his stamina and productivity at upper minutes, but he got plantar fasciitis 3 games into the preseason and is now out for 50 days. He was productive, though, putting up 20/8/2/1/2. I guess I don't have that big man depth problem anymore. I'll be rolling out the exact same frontcourt as last year.
Jeff Mullins played really well, averaging 21/5/3/1. Even though he's getting up there in age, he can still score the ball. He's also available for super cheap.
In other news, WTF happened to Jermaine O'Neal and Ray Allen?!

We played very well defensively, but struggled to score outside of Patrick and Allen. Seer and I are working on a new gameplan for sim 1.

Well I don't know what to make of that preseason after going 6-0 and distributing my minutes to Alton Lister, Thurl Bailey, Chauncey Billups, Steve Colter, and Jim Paxson in that order. Colter will be getting more regular season minutes based on his PS showing but nothing changes our planned starting five. Lets play for real now.

Had a good preseason against maybe a bunch of middle of the road teams but keep in mind that none of our players played more than 30 minutes in any game. We went 5 wins 1 Loss.
W-Raptors (H) W-Franca (H) W-Franca (A) L-Celtics (H) 2 points W-Bulls (A) 1 point W-Bullets (A)
I was worried about our small forward stocks but i am pretty happy with what SF Derrick Mckey showed. In 26 mins pg he averaged 10.5 ppg, 4.1 rebs, 2.3 ast, 1.3 stl. Some potential there and Xman was ok off the bench.
Starting 5: Shaq Mckale Mckey V. Johnson D. Johnson
And the really good good news, Shaq gained a purple potential box during this period.

Go Boston's Bench...some of the bench guys played pretty well with the top 5 guys in street clothes.
Now let's get to games that matter.

We beat Tehran with a collection of backups and third stringers playing. Nice

No clue what lineup got played with auto recommendation, but I'm pleased with LaSalle Thompson's preseason...he will be a fine backup for English and Rollins.

Both declined in Training Camp Perpetual rebuild here in Madrid. Well, your staff is pretty poor. You have three (out of five) categories with 3-stars and only two with 4-stars. Every team in the league aims for as many 4-stars as they can (probably all five) and hope to find a way to get one or two 5-star categories. By spending less than 1.5 million on your whole staff you are getting the bottom of the barrel. Gates is probably worth keeping but the rest of your staff should have been fired when you started to rebuild. Also, even teams without the game should have a solid scout. If you ever want insight on what your team thinks you are getting garbage info. I guess I am not shocked that your team struggles with TC after looking closer.

Teams who keep suffering TC deaths, need to re-evaluate their coaching staffs, scout and GM skills.

Yeh, my Coach FA last year didn't go quite as well as I'd hoped, but I didn't see the point in firing people with multi-year contracts. I guess I can afford it being so far away from the hard cap. Why do I need a good scout, though? I've had some other teams send me some screenshots, which I think has helped. I figure that since I don't have the game, I should spend all my money on my coaching staff instead (which I'm apparently not doing, either haha).
