- These two have been at it for so long.....
X Factor(s): Ivan Bisson
- Will he be willing to stay as the 3 guy on this team?
Main Weakness: A quicker forward might give this team a little trouble but we are nitpicking here.
2. New York Knicks
Key Player(s):
Zoran Slavnic

This guy just puts up simply outrageous numbers.
X Factor(s):
The crew of bigs not named Elvin Hayes or Bobby Jones

Can they be good enough to deal with the onslaught of elite/good big men duos.
Main Weakness: New York has to get another big.
3. Los Angeles Lakers
Key Player(s):
Hakeem Olajuwon

In a league full of big man, he is probably the best.
X Factor(s):
starting 1 through 3.

Do they pack enough punch to be the league champs?
Main Weakness:
Above average at best perimeter guys and could use another long range shooter.
4. Buenos Aires Boca Juniors
Key Player(s):
Kareem/Dr. J

two guys are elite at their positions
X Factor(s):
who ever the other forward is.

The Sonics (two great forwards) will be the bane of this team as the team has one solid starter at the 3/4 and a bunch of guys best suited for backup roles.
Main Weakness:
see above, but other than that, pretty solid team.
5. Indiana Pacers

Shaq/McHale

These guys make their case for best big men duo in league
X Factor(s):
Vinnie Johnson

Vinnie has proven himself to be the best 6th man in the league. How will he do as a starter on a prospective championship contender.
Main Weakness:
The point guard spot has a starter in Lucas, but there are a lot of point guards better. Hopefully he can defend them well enough to let his team handle their business
6. San Francisco Warriors

Sampson/Magic/Parish

This team is gonna be fun to watch with this frontcourt trio

Byron Scott

Can he go from being a scorer to a facilitator along with fellow guard Kenny Smith?
Main Weakness:
Turnovers and creating easy transition buckets could be this promising teams downfall
7. Brazil Franca BC
Key Player(s):
David Robinson/Mark Price

Overall solid guys that should make this team good but not great.
X Factor(s):
Big men rotation.

You have David Robinson then 3 guys that all do different things fighting for minutes.
Main Weakness:
If a guard or small forward go down, the team will be hard pressed with depth. healthiness ifs key to this team.
8. Mexico City Titans

Isiah/Gary Payton

2 elite point guards on the same team..... lets see how this works out.
X Factor(s):
Gilmore and whoever else starts at power forward

Can they be enough to battle all the elite bigs in this conference?
Main Weakness:
Game isn't played with 2 basketballs.

Is this the year he finally puts himself in the highest echelon of stars and proves he is more than a scorer?

The team needs another star.

Solid two starters but both best fitted for second and third guys on a legit team.

Can he be a good enough scorer to outweigh his athletic and defensive shortcomings?
Main Weakness:
They are not very tall. or very athletic, excluding Len Bias.
11. Harlem Globetrotters

Can he continue being elite while his athleticism declines?

Is he good enough to be a team's top post threat in the playoffs?
Main Weakness:
No pure inside scoring presence.

Main Weakness:
Team is not good at shot blocking, and perimeter players are average.

Most European type of bigs play in one of the most iconic American cities..... awkward.

Can they step up and be the dominant offensive and defensive presences in the interior.
Main Weakness:
They need good guards. Marbury and Woodson are gonna have you on the wrong side of the standings.

This guy must not be happy at the moment. Asked for trade from Philly, only to go to a team almost as bad.

Scott Skiles' attempt at defense

Who knew we could find another point guard as bad as Peewee Kirkland at defense.
Main Weakness:
This team doesn't have one big deserving more than 12 minutes a game on a good team.
16. Philadelphia 76ers

Can these two guys become a terrorizing backcourt tandem? If so, it is probably not this season or even next.

The 'veteran' swingman will be looking to get his stats while mentoring these two young guards
