Olympia Milan
Despite the simple design I’m big fan of this jersey. The deep red is a nice choice and the Armani Jean sponsorship fits well with the overall look. The creative placement of the logo on the sides is a nice touch.

CSKA Moscow
Borrowing some cues from classic NBA styles such as Detroit and Philadelphia, CSKA has a bright and clean design. The after-thought placement of their ugly, busy logo however leaves something to be desired. The sponsor logo isn’t ideal as well, however it’s solid jersey overall.

Boston Celtics
From a team with one of my favorite logos come a team with a well-executed jersey. Keeping many familiar elements from their glory days, the Celtics have modernized the look slightly while keeping it classy and recognizable.

Mexico City Titans
Another team with a logo I love, but they fall flat on the jerseys. The colorway reminds me of an ugly Christmas sweater, while the busy geometric look doesn’t help matters. Add in a cluttered bold font and we can end the review there – not a fan.

Philadelphia 76ers
This franchise has had its share of classic memorable jerseys along with a fair number of stinkers as well. They’ve settled on a nice clean design this season. The color scheme screams American with the prominent Red White and Blue theme but the home jersey is still reminiscent of old school 6er looks. Solid jersey.

Brasil Franca BC
Franca BC recently updated their jerseys, bringing a stylish modern look to a team that still rocks an outdated logo. The gold and green colors bring to mind the Brasil flag, while the clean font and absence of said logo really contribute to a nice look.

San Antonio Spurs
Classic Spurs. The understated, professional look is exactly what anyone would expect from this franchise. Nothing to change, but nothing to rave about.

Toronto Raptors
These guys change their jerseys, logo and roster on what feels like a daily basis. The original jersey carries some nostalgia however let’s be real – it’s Barney and jagged lines. Their best look in my opinion was the purple and black iteration, but honestly I don’t even know which logo/jersey combination they’re on these days.

Berlin ALBA
Berlin has gone very simple with their uniforms but I do like the gold and black color scheme. The placement of the team name is nice, but the WordArt type formatting is a little cheap. Front and center is their tired logo, however they kept it appropriately small - same for the sponsor logo. Solid jersey.

BA Boca Juniors
Well. It’s unique. Certainly screams Boca Juniors with the stars (a lot of them..) and the bright colors. Sure it looks a little like pajamas or a flag of some sort, but I don’t mind it. Many teams have gone away from busy jerseys to strict color blocks – BA dares to be different and the results are certainly controversial.

Seattle (Super)Sonics
One of the best color schemes in the league, I’ve always been a fan of the dark green with yellow trim. Subtle details like the placement of the logo and the city name on the waistband add to an already great design. Well done.

REAL Madrid
Ugh where to start. They look like they’re made of some shiny cheap satin, a basic and bland sponsor logo dominates the front while the legendary REAL logo is reduced to an after-thought. The royal blue and white combination save what is otherwise a mess of a jersey.

Chicago Bulls
Although I can’t imagine the Bulls with any other uniform, I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of these. I’d like to see them modernize these a bit, maybe incorporate that snazzy new aggressive logo the franchise debuted this season. It’s not bad, just blah.

Cairo Zamalek
The new Zamalek jersey that was launched this past offseason has garnered various reactions from disgust to boredom to love. Myself? I’m a fan. They’ve gone in a direction that really sets them apart from the usual basketball jersey styles. I like the unique horizontal striping and the simple two tone look. My only critique would be a preference for a larger logo.

Harlem Globetrotters
Where do I start? It looks like a mix between a clown and boxing gear and a superhero Halloween costume. It has a fake belt. I don’t even know what this mess is supposed to be.

Indiana Pacers
I have a crush on these jerseys. I would date them.. if that were a thing. Sure they’re missing the classic Pacer pin-striping, but something about them still screams Indiana Pacers. All three variants are gorgeous but I’m partial to the dark blue away jerseys.

KK Partizan
This is a shame. KK Partizan have a fantastic and unique logo but have somehow failed to translate that style to their jerseys. These are gross. The neck/collar area is a mess, the sponsor logo doesn’t fit in at all and their lovely logo is relegated to a supporting piece here.

Beijing Aoshen
The Aoshen have gone all out this season by releasing five variants of their popular dragon jerseys. They’ve gone ultra simple, removing team name, city and sponsors from their uniforms, allowing the dragon to take center stage. The red/yellow and red/white jerseys carry over from last year with the additions of black, yellow and blue primary alternates. The black and yellow version is bound to be a hit.

Anadolu Efes
I don’t even know what city this team plays in and I’m not going to check. It’s a dark blue jersey with their name on it.

Lithuania BC Zalgiris
This franchise finally shed itself of that horrendous logo last season and now has some new jerseys to compliment the re-brand. The simple, clean striping and dark green color choice lend itself to a fairly nice design. It’s solid but not as well executed as their logo in my opinion.

London Towers
Even the best of franchises get something wrong – this is very wrong. These jerseys are disgusting. There’s some random bird on there, along with what appears to be a mom and pop real estate firm with their MS Paint logo prominently featured. Yuck.

Detroit Pistons
Very similar to Philadelphia, the Pistons have a simple design that invokes memories of their classic jerseys while cleaning things up a bit. I really don’t like the font of the number, and while it seems like a small detail, on a jersey this simple those small details carry quite a burden.

Sydney Kings
Nothing subtle here. Sydney has gone with the in-your-face look including a massive crown logo, numbers on the front and back, city name down the side and bright purple as the primary color. While the jersey may not be everyone’s style, I do applaud them for keeping the sponsor logos small and out of the way. Considering a sponsor like Coke probably pushed for a larger footprint, they’ve done well to keep the focus on the Kings.

San Francisco Warriors
The Warriors have made an odd choice by leaving the city name off the jerseys and going with the colloquial “Golden State” moniker. That being said, these jerseys are among the best in the league. The large round logo has a retro feel and the bright blue and yellow colorway really make these pop. I’m a huge fan of both their logos and uniforms – great choices.

San Miguel Beerman
What the hell is this? How is such a well managed team rocking these things? There’s a mug of beer dribbling a ball. The fonts are complete opposites. There are useless large unsightly stripes on the sides. It’s all nonsense.

New York Knicks
I’m not going to say much about these. The Knicks jerseys have always roughly looked the same and should roughly look the same forever. Sure they’re a little plain, but they’re the Knicks and they’ll never drastically change.

Tehran Mahram
The ever elusive Mahram have some strange yet basic uniforms. The team name is contained in a red box across the chest and there’s really nothing else to speak of, they’re plain in a bad way. Darken the red and add some more of it – that would be a start.

Washington Bullets
Up there among my favorites are the Washington Bullets. They’ve done an incredible job mixing in their old school look while keeping everything fresh and modern. The stars on the shorts are a nice touch and thick red striping up top look great. Great choices on number font complete the look.

Bayi Rockets
Yuck. Why is it so plain? I don’t get these jerseys. The logo and team name are acceptable enough I suppose, although they could be larger. The rest of the jersey needs something though – simple is one thing but this is far too plain.

Athens Panathinaikos
Athens has a solid jersey, similar to BC Zalgiris. The team’s sponsor is well laid out and feels at home on the uniform. Their unsightly logo is rightfully relegated to the shoulder band area. The player name font however could use some improvement, match it up to the sponsor font or the city name perhaps.

Los Angeles Lakers
Right up there with the Knicks and Celtics, the Lakers current jersey is a nod to the history of the team. Well designed and current, it keeps the classy and successful legacy of the team in focus. Always a favorite and a top seller in the league.

Tel Aviv has done a great job keeping the team name and logo front and centre while placing the sponsorship out of the way. The unique typeface and number placement keeping the Maccabi jerseys looking visually interesting with a basic look throughout the rest of the uniform.
