Name: Chris Jackson
Position: PG
Number: 3
DOB: 5/8/2005
Age when drafted: 20
College: Lousiana State
Hometown: Gulfport, MS
Height: 6'1
Weight: 182
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS: Chris Jackson can score the rock. He draws fouls at a solid clip, and is probably a better FT shooter than he showed last year at LSU. He can attack the glass, but his favorite shot is the 3-ball that he will fire up from anywhere at any time. Jackson hit at a 47.5% clip last season. Jackson, despite his lack of size, is a surprisingly good offensive rebounder and can get some putbacks. He's also very quick, which should help his game quite a bit as he learns pro-level defense. He is a deft ballhandler and improving passer...which is funny because of something in the next section.
WEAKNESSES: Many national college basketball writers have said they don't think Jackson is more than an undersized 2 guard. He does put the rock up quite a bit, and there are some concerns with him trying to take over games by himself. His defense, although decent, is not going to be his calling card. He doesn't provide much help on the defensive glass either. From watching him, Jackson doesn't seem to have much will or desire to be a defensive playmaker...which could REALLY hurt his stock in the upcoming draft.
SIGNIFICANT INFO: One thing a team will have to keep in mind is that Jackson is a lightning rod for controversy and won't shy away from anything. Jackson was a 3* recruit before he had some issues as a high school senior which caused many scouting services to shy away from the outspoken guard.
