Which of the nominees have you seen?
I still have quite a few to see but I am hopeful they'll be re-released in theaters before March.

You could always catch them at the AMC Best Picture showcase as well...I'm sure there is an AMC somewhere around where you live...I've got to see American Sniper and Selma this weekend and I think I'm good.

I think I still need to see 9 films from my count. I've seen most of the best actor nominees for every other category I've seen one or two. Just saw American sniper tonight I'll probably check out theory of everything soon. I'd be curious what some opinions on certain films and categories?

Very impressed with the Sound of Music tribute. Also just enjoyed the whole thing in general.

Yeah I am not a Lady Gaga fan but she nailed the Sound of Music tribute.
Why no Joan Rivers in the remembrance segment?

some day wes anderson will win an oscar I'll be honest - I'm glad it wasn't for THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL. This is how I rank my Wes movies: 1. The Royal Tenenbaums 2. The Life Aquatic 3. Rushmore 4. Fantastic Mr Fox 5. The Darjeeling Limited 6. ..... 7. ..... 8. Moonrise Kingdom 9. The Grand Budapest Hotel 10. Bottle Rocket He's definitely well deserving of an Oscar but I hope he gets it for something I enjoy more.
