STRENGTHS:
Most people remember the Juwan Howard who at the tail end of his career was languishing at the end of the bench for the Miami Heat more a player coach then a key cog in the lineup at that point. What people do not remember is that Howard was once a very good scorer in the NBA. He averaged a career high 22.1 PPG in the 95-96 season using his inside/outside game to stifle opposing big men. Howard had a good jumpshot for a big man out to about 15 feet and used this to his advantage. Furthermore, he was a good FT shooter for a big man with a career mark of 76% even getting as high as 84% in the 04-05 season.
WEAKNESSES:
Howard did not offer much in the way of defense often a liability on that end of the court. Offered no significant numbers in the steals and blocks category. For a big man, his rebounding numbers leave a lot to be desired. Had turnover issues throughout his career.
