STRENGTHS:
Dale Davis was a big man that did not have all the natural skill in the world but he made all of the skill that he had. Davis was good rebounder especially on the offensive glass averaging 3 ORB per game for his career and a season high 4.2 in the 93-94 season. He was a good defender in the block using his size and strength to overpower opposing big men. Early on in his career he was also a good shot blocker. Took really good care of the ball finishing his career with only 1 TOV per game.
WEAKNESSES:
Davis had a weak offensive game only averaging 8 PPG for his career. Furthermore, he was not good at the charity stripe with a career .562%. No passing skills whatsoever even for a big man averaging under 1 APG for his career. Davis just did not have the soft touch even outside of 5 feet from the basket.
