STRENGTHS:
Chris Webber was the first overall pick in the 1993 draft after his dominance in the college game. He made an impact right away and built a great career with an all around game. Webber was always a great scorer throughout his career combining a wide array of post moves with a nice jumper and even range out to the three point (albeit not the best accuracy). Webber was also a good defender in the post and pretty good shot blocker pre-injury and could also swipe the ball with a career mark of 1.4. Webber was also an outstanding rebounder with a career average of 9.8 and season high of 13.0 RPG in 98-99. What really made Webber the complete package offensive was his ability to pass averaging 4.2 APG for his career with a career high 5.4 in 02-03.
WEAKNESSES:
C-Webb really struggled at the charity stripe in the beginning of his career but did make improvements as his career went on finishing with a career mark of 65%. Relied too heavily on an outside game at times and because of that his FG percentage was low in comparison to other big men. Durability issues caught up with him and he missed a lot of games throughout his career. Turnovers were an issue at times with 2.8 over his career per game.
SIGNIFICANT INFO:
5x NBA all star, 93-94 NBA all rookie, 93-94 NBA Rookie of The Year, All NBA team (5)
