Hahahahaha yes, it happened. Apparently it's Tebow time? I see no reason not to invite him to OTAs...he's in one of the few places where they won't allow it to be a media circus, there is no QB controversy, he gets to work out with Josh McDaniels again, and Belicheck might be the one guy who can convince Tebow to try working out at another position. Oh, and the Patriots gave no guaranteed cash...this is the epitome of a no-risk/very low reward scenario

I just find it humorous, but I agree completely. Jets strictly used Tebow for media attention and as much as I don't like Tebow, he doesn't deserve to get screwed over by a media hungry, crap team. I'm glad he isn't out of the NFL for his own sake, Tebow didn't do anything wrong, and doesn't deserve to be out if the NFL yet.

Plus, if they can convince him, Tebow has the natural talent to be a solid tight end, something the Patriots find themselves in need of now that Gronk just had his 42nd surgery in the past year. Would it really surprise anyone if the mad genius of Belicheck managed to pull Tebow from the grasp of a CFL future and turned him into a compliment to go with Aaron Hernandez at TE until Gronkowski came back?

I heard that same thing. I wouldnt be surprised if they could turn him into a TE but Im not sure how great his hands are. In any case, its a good thing for Tebow and its very low risk for New England. Tebow can learn a lot just by being on their team no matter what position they have him play.

I heard his incentives for playing time aren't tied to any position, it just matters if he is on the field. I don't see any way he'll be successful as a QB...I think it would be a good story if he got over himself and still found a way to have a successful career in the NFL as a fullback, tight end or even on special teams.

Brady goes down, Tebow leads the pats to championship! I have a better chance of passing Ryan Mallett as the Patriots #2 QB than Tim Tebow does.

He really needs to switch positions. I mean the stats don't lie. Worst completion percentage, pretty hard to get much interest at being a QB with that on your career achievement list.
