With our league getting past the first ever trade deadline as well as getting a good idea of who will be in the playoffs, who do you have as your favorite to win the first title in ABCA Legends?

Who is the favorite? I still think Chicago is the top dog at the moment. Is it ridiculous that Berlin didn't make the list after one mediocre sim...hell yes.

It has got to be the Bulls.

I've thought the Bulls have been good for a while BUT I have been the driver on the Beijing Aoshen bandwagon since Day 1.
Still room towards the top of the stairs if you'd like to hop-on. Watch your head for low-hanging banners.

I voted for the Bulls because they're well-rounded, good on the road, and have been consistently at the top since the start of the season. However, I still can't believe that we're getting no love.

Just spent 10 minutes of my lunch break looking around the league and examining teams. As much as I hate to admit it, the Bulls from the American conference are probably the favorites. They've got 3-4 guys who have heavy foul-draw rates and 7 total averaging > 2 free throws a night. They have no weakness offensively and they have very good defense to boot.

I'm just not sure how you can take a team that went 2-17 seriously, Moscow.

Not sure if anyone has seen, but Beijing has cooled off tremendously after that really hot stretch. They are 6-8 over their last 14.
I think the top 2 teams in the Eurasian might end up being Madrid and Cairo when its all said and done.

How about you look at the team with the best record over the last 10 in the Eurasian Conference...that would be Berlin at 7-3, only 2.5 games out of the 1 seed...don't count us out just yet. I have a feeling that the entire conference, which is seperated from 1-10 by like 3.5 games, might come down to one or two games determining seeding, which could mean everything, as the home/road splits are ridiculous in season 1.

Yeah our conference is nuts. I think seeding will have a lot to do with victories but not entirely. I think playing styles and match-ups might have a larger role but that's only if their are differences between the teams. I'm excited to see the pairings.

I'm excited to see the pairings as well, but don't look past home court advantage, which seems huge in this game. Of the 16 teams currently slotted to make the playoffs, a grand total of 1 have a winning record on the road (2 are at .500). Don't be shocked if quite a few series go 7 and go to the home team.
