I knew there was a reason I liked you. What won you over -- In the Aeroplane over the Sea or good kid, m.A.A.d city? Atmosphere is all I need. Slug's a talented lyricist. Sometimes his verses get a little self-indulgent and I don't always love the production of Atmsophere songs, but I don't mind listening to them.

Sometimes his verses get a little self-indulgent and I don't always love the production of Atmsophere songs, but I don't mind listening to them. I guess it kind of depends on what you want to get out of the music. Most of his stuff is all relate able to him and also to life and general (Ive personally got a lot out his music and could probably name 25 or more songs of his that are very good,). His style changes each CD he releases and it also changes as he grows older and his outlook on life changes. He's a great lyricist and a great story teller who puts a lot of emotion and reality into his music. I like a lot of music (except country) but when I say Atmosphere is all I need, I really mean it haha. If I had to listen to one person for the rest of my life I'd easily be Slug. That's just me though, whatever speaks to you . On a side note though I found this rapper named Wax. His newest CD isnt the Wax I like but all of his older shit is very clever lyrically and he has a lot of fun with it. He also has a very good actual singing voice.. Check out this Billie Jean Cover. He's mainly a rapper but very musically inclined.

so i've some how lucked out and now have a career as a music producer/touring dj, so i spend a lot of time listening to music. i'm a big fan of a lot of the classics, and stuff pretty far from what i make and play. that being said, when i come home i like to listen to catchy dumb shit a lot, and this is the king of that classification right now.

One of my all time favorite 90s rap/hip hop songs ever. In fact almost the entire album is great.
