i always like of snuff as .....
intended for consumption by being inhaled or sniffed into the nose
i believe tony was a "moist snuff" user or the traditional "dip" type.

As a Dodgers fan, hated for us to face him, but he was awesome to watch. Excellent hitter and good role model for kids. I agree on the tobacco, such a shame. RIP
