Brazil took a player who is expiring and isn't worth getting the max in the offseason and dealt him to a team that will MAX him in the offseason. For that, he gets two firsts (one that will be incredibly lotto and one that could be with one injury or the GM trading himself out of contention...like Seer) and a decent propsect PG. This isn't even close.

Love it for Brazil. Tiny is overrated and not worth a max.

If Beijing is indeed going to give Tiny a camp and the max, I only like it slightly for Brazil. Nixon is terrible and those picks can't be relied on. Lagos is losing slightly on purpose by limiting his better players minutes this year. Once he gets a nice draft pick, he'll boost those minutes up and be at .500 or better. We're look at two picks in the teens + Nixon for Tiny. Not terrible as people make it seem.

If not, they are sitting damn near the playoffs. Which means 12-16 range now that we have 16 Lotto Teams!!

They'll have a Top 10 pick this year + play his guys more than 30 MPG will = more wins easily. Plus a little FA action. He could easily be .500 this year with some changes. Add a couple talented players to a roster with no super aging players. He's fine.

Bridges and Debuschere are a weak front court and Belov has declined significantly... His best player is Zednicek and he doesn't have any cap flexibility. This is a franchise altering trade for Brazil and anyone who thinks Tiny is worth a max is ludicrous.

What this guy said...Lagos is playing his guys more than 30 minutes...he's trying to run Dave D at 35, but he's always in massive foul trouble, because he's an overrated defensive liability. Belov regressed tremendously. Zednicek is his best player and has been on the block all season...what makes you think Lagos is suddenly going to flip a switch and turn things around next season with this group?

I feel Aguirre will improve, and he'll add a Top 10 guy in a nice draft. Couple that with a MLE addition and his team has more depth and ready to be a .500 team. Not GREAT team. Just .500 which in a 16 team lotto means he'll be in the early teens or right before then. Not Top 10. Trust me, 8-10 teams next year will tank hard as possible to make a run at the top of that class. If you try at all to avoid it, you will.

The picks could be anything really but for an expiring tiny who if brazil really wants he can max and try and bring back its not a bad way to go. I say brazil wins buts its not complete domination or anything remembwr we will have 4 crap expansion teams too next year

This is easily Brazil for me. He took a guy that many weren't sold on, about to get a 5 year max and turned him into two potential lotto picks. You can look further than that at this trade but just looking at it in the simplest way, this goes to Brazil.
I think the core Beijing is putting together is solid though, I like his front court and while I have never been high on Tiny (go back and look at my mock draft), he is a solid/above-average PG at worst. I just think he should've been able to get Tiny a bit cheaper if he wanted him.
