I can't fault madrid too much for trading Korac for this package because i think he doesn't have the perceived value in the league, and he's expiring, but damn do I love this deal for KK. With Bellamy/Korac/Erving/Sloan/Volnov and sears/cliff/flynn off the bench he is a legit contender. I give him the slight edge.

KK won by a bit.
I think Korac has more value than most and what he gave up wasn't much at all (because I don't believe in the pick being above 22).
This is the kind of deal that would have made more sense for Milan instead of trading for older guys (like Greer who he dealt again anyway).

Yep, KK won this trade, though I like what Madrid was trying to do in his situation (just not what he what he ended up getting). As I said in chat, this deal looks worse after the expansion news, as that pick dropped 4 spots before a game was played. Here is to hoping Galis blows up to make this a little more even...

I only think it is even because he could get a little more value out of Bianci potentially. I like Galis a lot too. Think the deal just makes sense both ways... older guys expiring have little to no value these days.

You got a top 20, maybe top 15 player added to your squad.

After I saw this I had one of those "shit I could've offered something better" moments. But I didn't offer, so I can't complain.

Yep, Korac is criminally underrated in this league...or I guess he isn't underrated, since he was voted fairly well. He still doesn't get the trade value he deserves...

Yeh, you know, this isn't exactly what I wanted for Korac, but it's what I had to take. As usual, if you think Korac should've netted me more value, you should've offered. Most of the other deals I had on the table involved players on lengthy contracts and a late first round pick. At least this got me tradable expirings, a late first round pick, and a backup PG prospect. I wasn't willing to wait until after a potential decline in TC.
Also, Terry Dischinger is about to go for less than this, so if you want him, offer away.

Think the deal just makes sense both ways... older guys expiring have little to no value these days. I don't think you could have gotten any more out of Bianci. He was dealt two yaers ago for a bottom pick (which turned out to be great but at the time the trade was made it was the reigning champ's pick).
