No matter if you like him or hate him he has given a lot to the industry as a whole.

No matter if you like him or hate him he has given a lot to the industry as a whole. To be fair though, killing off territories and all competition could be argued as making the industry worse then it's ever been. Right now 50% of the main event stars are from the struggling indies that Vince hates so much...I just miss real competition since TNA is even worse then the worst WCW shows at the end.

Well yes that is no question but if he wouldn't have done it the business would have never gotten to the level its at today popularity wise.

I feel this thread needed to bumped. So Hulk is possibly going back to the WWE?! Terrible move IMO, can't wrestle and way over the hill. The Battleground PPV sucked, the least they could've done was have someone win the belt. The last two PPV's were bad. Undertaker or maybe Goldberg vs Ryback at 'Mania?! Ryback is terrible, hopefully it doesn't happen since he is a terrible worker. Hopefully the Heyman/Punk feud ends soon, its been stretched pretty thin at this point. Finally....Cena is making his return already?! I thought he was out til the rumble but I've heard ratings are down the tube right now. I would attibute that to the booking of everyone else besides the Rhodes finally. Ok now I'm done.

The match with the Rhodes family was only good match at Battleground. Certainly need to do something different.

Are they still trying to push Ryback as Goldberg?
I didn't know Bill still wrestled.
And if they have Ryback end Underbiker's WM streak I'd be kinda pissed - he's not worthy of it.

No, Ryback is a bum now...I think at one point they showed where he had lost at 9 straight pay-per-views. Now he is in a feud with CM Punk as Heyman's henchman of the week, so that won't go well for him.
Honestly, wrestling has been shit for months now. The Daniel Bryan stuff was gold at first, but they've managed to mishandle the rest of the storylines pretty spectacularly. The only thing worth watching right now is the Tag Team Champions, Cody and Dustin Rhodes...
That's right...it's 2013 and Golddust is holding WWE gold...

I did something I usually don't I bought a PPV. Definitely see the reason I don't usually do that. It was really predictable Cena comes back and wins the title and Orton gets the gold back once more.

Then you shouldn't watch any of the current shows or PPV...cause he is on every week, at least twice a week, sometimes three times (he's been on the Wednesday Main Event show more than once).

Goldust was great (in his original creepiness) before he turned face. Now he's just enjoyable because there is such a lack of "characters" in the E' today. However one of my favorite entrances

Definitely wish they would revert back to the Attitude era it was definitely a better product.

Raw had a nice ending tonight..
Orton hits Cena, Cena hits Orton, Orton hits Punk, Punk hits Orton, HHH hits Punk, Punk hits HHH, Michaels hits Punk, Bryan hits Michaels, Orton goes for Bryan, Bryan counters, Orton hits Steph, HHH then pedigrees Orton.
Good stuff. I'm just surprised they're unifying the title at TLC though.

Raw did have a fantastic ending, but the problem is that they do this once every 6-8 weeks. Meaning an Attitude Era-ish ending where it could go places but it won't. Vince and Co. need to realize that Bryan Danielson is a mother fucking superstar and the guy people want to go nuts for, not Robo-Cena or Randy Boreton. I worry that what once looked like a possible Royal Rumble win and WM main event for Bryan will get dumped down to a Cena/Taker or Cena/Hogan nonsense with Bryan having a blow off match with Mr. H's.
As far as TLC goes, I'd be surprised if they actually unify them. Unless they plan to make the mid-tier belt begin to matter again this is just dumb. They put on too many house shows where they like to have one of the champions at and having two different gives them options to use one for stretchs (usually the Smackdown one). Plus the fake belts are usually pretty good sellers for merchandise so I fully expect some stupidness like Cena grabbing Ortons, and Orton grabbing Cenas so that Cena can have the Cena belt again. Or it's just the WWEs newest fuck you at tradition and get rid of the big gold belt (the best one of all time) for the gaudy piece of crap they have as their title.

Honestly, I'm all for unifying the titles...there are too many of them and none of them mean anything. I honestly can't tell you which is the "World" and which is the "WWE" title, I just know one is mostly Raw and one is mostly Smackdown, and the Smackdown one is basically a joke. Putting it on Cena at least gains it a bit of credibility in the fans' eyes after 2 years of Del Rio and Sheamus bringing it down. Does anyone even care that Langston is the IC champ and that Ambrose is the US champ? When was the last time that Ambrose actually defended his title?
I say unify the two top titles, unify the two mid card titles and call it a day. Nothing was better than when the IC champion was just a step away from a World title shot because the IC strap meant something...now it is a joke that the Miz and Kofi Kingston can pass back and forth whenever the Miz has a direct to DVD movie coming out. Cut down on the titles, prop up the tag division more and call it a day.
Oh, and get rid of the diva division. Use them as eye candy or to sell merchandise all you want, but I shouldn't have to watch/fast forward my DVR through two divas matches on the same Raw in the same week. Nobody who watches Total Divas watches Raw, so you don't need to cross market. If WWE wasn't making money off E! they could fire every diva that was AJ or Fandango's chick and 99% of wrestling fans wouldn't notice.

I think there is place for a Euro/US/TV title.
Realistically titles shouldn't change hands often, especially the top one, so if the IC is next you'd only wanna move that 3-4 times a year max. Doesn't hurt to have a mid-card title that can change hands on RAW/Smarkdown for the fans and up and comers.
Most of WCWs best stuff was Jericho going after the low titles.
This from a guy who has no idea what's happening now is wrestling.

I also like mid-tier titles if done right. I actually like Big E personally. He has that raw power look and explosive ability much like a young Goldberg. The problem is these titles are passed around way too much and the guy with it is never even considered for a world title match even though they are supposed to be the #2 champion of their show.
I am all for the Divas division if done right. As of now they have 0 Divas who can both wrestle and look good. I thought they had something with Kaitlyn but thru her under the bus and hasn't been seen since. It's sad that Eve comes out Monday night and I actually said I missed her. I don't think we'll ever get the Fit Finley Diva division greatness again with Trish/Lita/Torrie/Victoria/Molly/Jazz/Mickie/etc.. but when they let Gail Kim go for no reason and keep things like an Alicia Fox they just don't get it.

I agree the mid-tier titles are fine if done right, but they aren't right now...the US title is a prop and the IC title gets passed around like the hardcore title used to. If they actually let people have legitimate 3-6 month title reigns, it would mean something, but they don't.

To be honest, I don't even remember who the US champion was until I sat and remembered it was Ambrose who rarely defends as is.

To be honest, I don't even remember who the US champion was until I sat and remembered it was Ambrose who rarely defends as is. Which would be annoying enough if Dean Ambrose was never on TV, but the Shield gets more airtime then anyone not named Cena, Orton or Daniel Bryan...and some weeks they gets more than all of them combined. The least that Ambrose could do is actually put the title on the line every once in a while to make it relevant...they could be hyping up his title reign, but instead they just use it as a prop that he carries around.

What I find the funniest is that I see the least amount of future from Ambrose, but the internet wrestling community creams their pants anytime he comes out. Reigns has got future main eventer written all over him, and maybe they keep the belt on Ambrose until either he or Reigns breaks away from the group (since it seems they are hinting that slightly) and move the title then. I like heel champions as much as the next guy, but belts tend to get their prestige from the faces that carry them for long stretches. You just don't find great heels anymore that aren't chicken shit heels that run away from the good guy. Gone are the days of The Ravishing One, Mr. Perfect, Old School Ric Flair. Speaking of the Ravishing one:

His promos and wrestling skills are top notch IMO. He has a ton a hype behind him but with the skills he's been showing, it seems to be well deserved. They need to breakup the Shield already and put him in a feud with Punk, Bryan or Cena. Those would be great feuds.

I don't like Reins myself but they seem to want to push him. Ambrose does need to defend the title more that's for certain.
