Oh God... What a waste of my day watching this crap. First my day started off like crap with the Thunder losing to NY but this to me was the WORST Wrestlemania of all time. Maybe 2nd worst to WM9.
Show opened with The Shield vs. Orton/Sheamus/Big Show. This was your typical "meh" match. I expected this later in the event due to the Shield being heavily liked amongst the IWC and looked good throughout the match. I hate faces in the WWE because they are all the same. Back and forth until the Shield gets the upper hand, Big Show is ready for the hot tag when Orton jumps onto the apron and steals the tag. He then gets hit with a spear out of nowhere and Big Show just stands there watching him lose. Post match saw Big Show knockout punch both of his partners to go back to being a heel after just being one 3 weeks ago. His 80th turn this year I think.
Next match saw Ryback (Imagine a worse Goldberg) and Mark Henry. This was your typical big man match. Nothing new or exciting here. Ryback picks Henry up on his back for his finisher and Henry grabs the top rope and then falls on him SPLAT! Henry covers for the pin. Don't worry Good guy fans Ryback still hit his finisher after the match. Gotta send the kids home happy right?
Then we got one of the two good matches with Hell No against Ziggler/Big E. Ziggler is a star at selling. I loved that they started the match with the Ziggler/AJ kiss thing that got D.Bryan beat in 18 seconds last year and almost repeated. That got the crowd into it early. I wish more matches were like this, all involved got a chance to look good and it didn't hurt anybody going forward. Ziggler sold the best chokeslam I've seen Kane hit in the last 5 years, followed by a D.Bryan flying headbutt for the win. Moment of the night was the close to 80,000 fans all chanting YES YES YES along with D.Bryan. He deserved it after losing in 18 seconds last year.
Then we got Jericho/Fandango. This was entertaining enough, but once again a match that everybody knew the result going in. Jericho only comes back for a few months to put over new talent. Decent match, Fandango looked good. Hit a sweet top rope leg drop during. Won with a roll up. I hate Rollups.
MATCH OF THE NIGHT. CM Punk vs. Taker. Great quality match between the two. I was shocked by it to be honest, I enjoy CM Punk greatly and didn't expect him to be able to put on such a good match with old man Taker. Great back and forth, lots of cool moments with Punk doing the cross the arms pin on the Taker for a two. Punk kicks out of one tombstone, but cannot get out of the second one. I felt that the last couple years of Taker matches were better, but this was still really good. They highlighted what he is able to do, and did a good job of hiding his age here.
HHH/Brock Lesnar. This was just a mess for me. Once again, HHH was an obvious win here but the match went to often from intense and good to just random mess. Brock dominated most of the match until HHH decided to take over. HHH locked in the Kimura lock 3 times at the end trying to get a tap out. Led to a sledgehammer shot to the head and then a Pedigree on the steps. Brock should have won, it's just more waste of Lesnar in the company.
Rock/Cena. Like I said Face Cena LOL Wins! Terrible match. Worse then last years Wrestlemania. Way too many Rest Holds. They did some spots similar to last year to try and be cute. The crowd was not into this match at all. The last 3-4 minutes were literally just finishers. Somebody turned on infinite finishers and these guys spammed the fuck out of it. They had a couple chances where a heel turn could have gone down, but in the end LOL CENA WINS LOL!
****I hope that they never do an outdoor arena Wrestlemania again. The crowd can make or break an event, and when you have them drowned out because of the stadium it lowers the value of the event.
Uhhh....Same ol' Shit.

He can have his 1000 moves, however Y2J knows 1004. Arm Bar! I think Lance could have improved on the mic given proper time. I think that's the biggest thing holding WWE back in its entertainment. If a guy isn't good on the mic (Shelton Benjamin for example) he's tossed out instead of being given help and a chance. If you are never allowed to go out and try to cut a promo how can you improve? I think both guys actually had their shot to prove their worth. Both had IC title reigns but lack of charisma held them back from being moved up the ladder. Benjamin had multiple IC and US title reigns and Storm held every title except for the Heavyweight title in WCW plus a IC run in the WWE. While their runs might not have been long enough, if you can't get over, you're screwed. Jericho - 4, Greenberg - 0

Creig58- I think I'm just to into wrestling the way it used to be. I don't care if the guy is a mediocre talker, if he can go and has put people over and done a great job the title should be a thank you kind of thing once and a while. Like Christian winning it after Edge retired. Now I'm not saying Lance or Shelton should be headlining Wrestlemanias, but a random Raw/Smackdown? Get a title match? Shelton damn near killed himself in some of those MITB matches and had a run on raw where he beat HHH a couple times and put on a match of the year with HBK and they did nothing with him from there. Lance is another one of those guys that I think the WWE could have used better. Mid range title guy that should have got random shots as something different. The big problem with the World titles is that they don't have random title defenses anymore. It is all rematch after rematch and recycled feuds. You need some of these midrange guys to help keep it interesting. Right now you should be seeing guys like Wade Barrett and Antonio Cesaro get a random title shot and have them get some offense and not just be squashed by Super Cena. Look at the Hell No vs. Ziggler/Big E, you can put on a match where everybody looks good, not just Cena

Damnit Dave...I missed Wrestlemania, how about a little **spoiler alert** What if I felt like taking the WWE up on their offer and spending the $69.95 to watch the damn replay in HD. After, you know, I started caring about wrestling and all...

LoL. Sorry Swoosh I forgot all about the people that wait days later and then spend the money to rent it. Thank god for "questionable" streams on the internet. I would hunt down Vince McMahon and castrate him with a butter knife if I spend $70 on this joke of a PPV. I really wish TNA was better then it is. Wrestling has not been entertaining since WCW went under and there was no more competition. PG ERA 4 LIFE ugh...

It was better tonight though. The crowd was super red hot, it's a shame you only get this kind of crowd the night after WM. Then it just goes back to little jimmies and Cena fans the rest of the year. Love the D.Bryan love, and the crowd singing the Fandango song had me in tears. 362 days until the best raw of next year now.

They should have put shows like this on all the time. I mean its obvious they need to push the young talent as the part timers are exactly that and eventually they become retired. That will ultimately be there downfall if they don't push the guys like Ziggler(thank god he finally cashed it in), Fandango who makes me think he is already over, Kingston, Sin Cara, Cody Rhodes and Sandow(even though he does get on my nerves) Prime Time players are a good team as are the USO's. I think the talent is there and they need to ultilize it.
Also I think they need to bring things back for the littler guys to go for like the cruiserweight title like I believe someone I can't remember who mentioned it previously but that would entertaining.

I stopped watching right after the Rock won the title... Did he injure his knee again? Its a shame the WWE didn't figure out how to use him right until 2011, Punkers getting pretty old.

Yeah, I think he was planning on some time off regardless due to the insane schedule he was working but I heard he tore some ligaments in his leg at WM so just rest should heal it. He seemed pretty burnt out, and more the reason that there should be an offseason for these guys. Also stop running the main event guys at house shows. No reason to see great talent burn out because of having to work close to 300 dates a year on that grind.

Any thoughts on this past Raw with Kingston beating Antonio Cesaro for the US title? I believe it was good to give him someone to feud with potentially.

Any thoughts on this past Raw with Kingston beating Antonio Cesaro for the US title? I believe it was good to give him someone to feud with potentially. I think they could have went quite a few better directions with Cesaro. First I don't think they should have taken the title off him, at least not in that manner. Something like a triple threat or fatal fourway would have been better. He could have looked good and not taken the pin, and at least had that claim other then losing clean to Kofi who does nothing but job on a weekly basis. Kofi needs to turn, plain and simple. He is as boring a face as there is. I think in a 3-4 way situation they could have jumped the title to another heel that way and have the Kofis of the world chasing it. They to often just give Kofi the IC of US belt and forget that he can't speak and is boring as fuck to watch most of the time. If Jericho wasn't already out the door, I think he and Cesaro could have some great matches. Hell if they would break up Hell No, matching him up with Kane would be new and interesting. Nothing fits better then this...

Kofi bothers me because he can't cut a decent promo (he never looks into the camera.) Also if he's going to go with this "I Can Fly" gimmick, I expect a better top rope signature.

Yeah the cross body off the top rope is very weak. I personally haven't been a fan of Kofi since his arrival. Should say something when he can't get on the grandest stage of Wrestlemania and then win a title a couple of weeks later.

It was actually pretty good...best Raw since the post-Wrestlemania Raw (I can't believe I've been checking in on this crap lately). And of course now that Daniel Bryan is the most over wrestler on the roster it looked like he suffered a legit injury...
