This makes 0 sense to me. ROTY and all league 2nd team guard with plenty of room to grow is traded for 3 guys that will never see another accolade of whom, 2 are in contract years and 2 picks; one of which is coming off a 57 win season and the other is plenty young and just got better. On top of it all, Beijing's cornerstone is traded away where they don't have their pick for a few more seasons. Yay America getting rougher by the day.

This is Raptors by a lot even though that option wasn't actually included. I usually like to see these deals play out a bit before I give my opinion (and I have a hard to criticizing any deal) but I just don't get this for Beijing. They are just coming off a promising year with a rookie core in DFT - Vinko, and then trade DFT for:
Plus what makes me dislike this deal more is that Beijing has none of his future picks right now and he just traded away the main reason he was impressive this season. Getting back Alex English would've softened the blow a bit but idk. DFT was already looking like a superstar and I hoped that Beijing kept him so i'm not sure what happened here.
Looks like another tough team added to the fray here in the American Conference.

Yeah this is awful. From wanting a ransom to settling on Cowens and Nixon. What a suicide trade...

I normally like to look at the trades both ways but I really don't get this for Beijing at all. Thompson is one of the best young players in the league and hes getting back 3 average players. I liked the core of Thompson-Love-Vinko for them going forward and as New York said they dont have their picks so it could set them back quite a bit.

This is so unbelievably lopsided, I'm at a loss for words. Well done Toronto.

Love this trade for Beijing. He picks up a handful of former Cairo players with the proven pedigree to not be mediocre.

Would like to see Aoshen explain their reasoning... "I agree. This was tough for me to do but I can't round out this team and get it to move forward by sitting on one asset for 4 years. So I'll add Cowens, Nixon, and Dandridge to the core and add two future 1sts. One being Seer's which is about as unpredictable as any firsts in this league if he becomes displeased with any one player." -That's his reasoning from the trade thread.

As "unpredictable" as I am, I have never handed over a top 5 pick to someone who owned my first - in this league or any other. Pretty confident that will continue to be the case.

This is the most extreme trade comments poll I've ever seen in any ABCA. Both in terms of participation and result.

Should we just give him the IT award for next season already? You never ever trade a player like DFT at this age unless it's an unbelievable offer......

The only good thing about this is that I have Beijing's 1st next year, yahoo me. Trade on picks based on previous behaviour works. Beijing is known for making erratic moves and he lives up to that with this one.

Nope the only thing he was trying to get from me was the 7. Was this a rebuilding move, I have no idea what it was meant to be.

This is the most extreme trade comments poll I've ever seen in any ABCA. Both in terms of participation and result. Yeah i've never seen any of the trade comment threads i've made look like this. Not only has 23 of 26/27 GMs actually voted on a trade poll (not sure we've had that much participation in any trade) but everyone voted the same. Usually we have one or two GMs that feel the need to vote Even/Both, but so far that's not the case.
