Name: Bill Cartwright Position: C Height: 7'1" Weight: 247 lbs DOB: 7/30/1997 www.abcalegends.com/players/player98.htmPros: Bill Cartwright comes into the draft with a couple things working in his favor. Cartwright is already a fairly stout post defender, meaning he will be able to contribute on one end of the court right off the bat. Also, While his offense isn't spectactular, it isn't horrendous either, meaning if you want to trot Cartwright out as a backup (or God forbid as a starter) as a rookie, you should be able to get some quality minutes out of him. Cons: While Cartwright might not hurt you too much right now, the main concern is that he may never help you too much either. He projects to be a decent offensive presence and an average rebounder and shot blocker, which coupled with his size could help him stay in the league for some time. But Bill doesn't project to be special at any one area, and looks more like a role player and minute eater than anything. Throw in the fact that he has below average athleticism, and you could be looking at a potential bust here. Overall: Cartwright is a bit of a risky pick who is likely to fall somewhere in the middle of the first round if only because there is a lack of true big men coming out in this year's draft. Someone might reach early to pick him based on his size and defense...I'm not sure I'd be that person. Projection: #15-#20
