Hondo is the better player but Lanier is younger and he got a 1st.
Seer by a nose.

I love how it sets up both teams. Lanier/Parish/Seers 1st this year, and DJ/Hondo/Walton/Corey's 1st this year.

I'm assuming the person who thinks Toronto Pwns must have a higher value on my next year pick. I'm confident it won't be a fantastic one. If I were a brash man, I'd guarantee a playoff spot.

I think it's even. John's assessment is spot on, but I don't value the pick and I think we both got a player we wanted. I love the DJ at 1, Hondo at 3, Walton at 5 scenario - so many inside and outside options.

Yeah I have no doubt you make the playoffs next season. The pick was exactly what I asked for in our negotiation, something to bridge the gap between Lanier and Hondo's current talent level. I would take Hondo now over Lanier but the allure of adding more pieces to my team with that FA money was too great.
