Pros: At 6'8" and only 18 years old at the time of the draft, Earvin "Magic" Johnson is the concensus #1 pick of this draft class. With unparallelled athletics from a man his size, Johnson is easily capable of playing all positions from point guard all the way to power forward (and possibly center for some teams). Johnson is coming into the league already an exceptional passer, meaning he should have no problem contributing high assist totals from day one to the lucky team that gets the top draft selection. Johnson has an extraordinary ceiling that he isn't even close to reaching yet.
Cons: Even though Johnson is an athletic freak with a high ceiling, that ceiling is nowhere within reach because he is very raw right now on both ends of the court. He will have some growing pains both offensively and defensively, but that won't scare anyone from drafting Johnson here.
Overall: Earvin Johnson is as close as you get to a sure thing in a league of hit and miss possibilities. The there is no suspense where he will go...he's going #1. The only question is who will get the pick and if someone (London) will offer a ransom to move up to get him. Trust me, he'll be worth it in the end.
Projection: #1

Earvin JohnsonSF / 6-8 / 220LBS / 8/14/2001 www.abcalegends.com/players/player51.htmPros: Earvin Johnson is a special player and one of the most intriguing prospects in a long time. Although he is 6-8 Johnson's greatest strength is his passing ability and you add that to his athletic abilites, it makes some scouts say that he could play Point Guard at the next level and at 6-8 you start to realise how special of a player he could become. Johnson can do it all, despite his scoring being a bit raw currently, he has the potential be to a good scorer in the league to go with his passing skills. He is also a great free throw shooting and solid defender, and could potential guard any position on the floor which is amazing. Cons: There isn't many flaws to Earvin Johnson's game as he is just an great all around talent but if you had to choose something it would be his turnovers. They might be a tad too high but given how much he handles the ball you expect that sort of thing. He may be a bit raw in some areas currently and also he isn't that much of a three point shooter and don't really see him becoming one down the road. Overall: Earvin Johnson is a special talent, one that doesn't come around that often and whoever drafts him will have a player to build around for years to come. Although this draft has some great talent can't seem him not going #1 overall. Projection: #1
