It's a trade done for the future, so there's no real definitive winner for a while, but let's hear thoughts. I rarely make trades, so I like to hear the general opinion.
Berlin Trades: Bob Lanier
Harlem Trades: Berlin 2020 1st round pick

Right now this looks good for Harlem. Hardly ever see a big man move for so little but I can see why Berlin did this as well. Harlem's front court is scary now

I think Harlem wins. Lanier is a proven 20/10 guy who has potential as well.
Doesn't mean Berlin really loses, deal makes sense like the one Cairo made recently.

Can't say who won this one yet since we have to see where the pick lands and if Lanier takes another step forward. I voted even because I think this has the makings of a win-win trade for both teams.
Can't wait for the Imhoff/Issel - Walton/Lanier showdowns in the division

This makes a lot of sense for ALBA. They were trending towards a top 5 pick and now they are practically guaranteeing themselves of a top 5 pick. Lanier will be a pending FA in the off-season and ALBA's core are all rookies. He will be able to add a cost controlled star (if he gets top 4-5) to his current core of Williams/Birdsong/Adams and be able to add another next year as well since he has his picks.
Also is a no brainer for Harlem. He is already slated for a top 5 pick with his own, and now has Lanier to go next to Walton/DJ. Add in whoever he picks and his starting lineup will be comprised of 4 top 5 picks, still on their rookie deals and then can get himself some help in FA.

The best C - PF duo in the American Conference You spelt Lucas and Reed wrong bro And with Walton/Lanier already getting up there, I feel like you're already slated for #3.

One thing is for sure: I've never made a bad trade with Swoosh. It's always been nearly even or at least pro-pro for both sides.
