Oh I missed this thread.
It's been years I should go back and watch this.

It is a very good film and one I should also rewatch as well...I've got the DVD in a DVD book at home somewhere. Greatest "talkie" of all time might be a bit extreme. Top five movie of 1992? Probably closer to home (not better than Unforgiven or Reservoir Dogs, but I'd slot it around A Few Good Men). I'm intrigued to find out what Corey's greatest silent film is at this point since that is apparently a distinction he's making here.

Andrew Bujalski...David Gordon Green You just said a lot of things that have nothing to do with each other...I LOVE IT! lol I'm on board with some of what you said (Lang, Keaton, Chaplin...I'm big into the classics), but I've never been a fan of David Gordon Green and I'm not big into the mumblecore scene, though I did like Your Sister's Sister (as I would give anything with Emily Blunt a shot).

Probably wrong thread for all this but I have nothing against David Gordon Green.
Of course Chaplin, Keaton, Lang are sweet.

Didn't see those but his indie work is iconic and Pineapple Express is better than most think.
