Consider the following:
2008 - Bulls land hometown hero Derrick Rose 2009 - Griffin heads to Clips after Brand takes off for Philly the year before 2010 - Washington snag Wall following the death of longtime owner Abe Pollin 2011 - Nick Gilbert wins the Kyrie Irving 2012 - Anthony Davis to (at the time) the league-owned Hornets
Obviously some great storylines here but what's in it for this year and Nerlens Noel? Could the Magic miraculously replace Dwight the year after he cried foul? Orlando does have the worst record in the league, but the chances at #1 are still a tad bit better than drawing a face card. Or will it be the Kings, who could use a frontcourt partner alongside Cousins (not to mention a good wing)? Or is David Stern find done screwing over the Timberwolves?
IMO Noel will probably be the weakest #1 overall since Bargnani, torn ACL notwithstanding. Nevertheless, the kid has all the tools to be successful, including a lengthy 7'5" wingspan (same as Davis).
Regardless, I'll be rooting for the Raptors to win the Wiggins sweepstakes next year, rigged or not. For a country obsessed over hockey, Toronto has a decent enough fanbase, and drafting their own local legend will only contribute to that. What you you guys think?

Is getting Noel like winning the lottery? Not impressed with an extremely undersized big who is coming off such a major injury. I'd rather see him go back to college and get himself right before being the next Greg Oden. This years NBA draft seems as bad as the recent NFL draft.

I'd like for the Wolves to get Oladipo (because we need perimeter D from the 2) or McLemore (cause we need shooting from the 2). I also wouldn't turn down Noel but after those three...?
