I stopped listening at the word "beer"
I'm sure Corey (and Jeb) will be along shortly.

I had a Unibroue once.
Bleh.
I just don't love the taste of beer. Where's a good place to start?

There are hundreds of styles of beer - if you feel like making the effort, you can find one. But it might be an effort if you don't like beer.
One thing, though - most of those who don't like the taste of beer don't like it because they're used to the ashy, sour, grossness that is American Light Beer. Hefeweizens are a good start (light, fruity, smooth) or dark stouts (chocolatey and smooth). Don't go for an IPA to start unless you like the smell of weed or pine.

Corey hits the nail on the head here. If you are interested in putting in the effort to find beer you like and you have a smart phone, the app BrewGene is amazing. I've tried and rated almost 150 beers. The app will tell you what type of beer they are, ABV%, bitterness rating (which I'm still learning to judge), and brewing origin. You rate the beer on a scale of 0.5-5 stars and once rated they go in your Cellar which is a list of all the beer youve tried in order of ratings in case you forget if you had one. You can also add Beer Buddies who can share/recommend beers to you that they've tried. The app does work better for iPhone unless they patched the bugs on the android version. If you decide to download it, my profile is klementine26 so you can add me. Beers I recommend to start: -Sam Adams Cold Snap (new winter seasonal- amazing on tap) -Guiness (in my experience- ON TAP ONLY, this is a rule of thumb for all stouts and porters IMO) -Sam Adams Boston Lager (an actual good American beer in terms of major brewers) -Blue Moon (I'm not a fan but novice beer drinkers seem to like it when they start)

This is a good, clean, refreshing tasting beer to give a try. Squeeze in a lemon or orange and enjoy. Picked this due to it being an easy beer to find.
