Pros: Tree Rollins is a tall drink of water who can contribute right out of the gate as a rebounder and defender. Rollins looks to be an asset as a shot blocker from day one, which combined with his size and rebounding should make him a sure fire starter from the beginning of the year as well. While several players in this draft have a higher ceiling, not many will make such a sudden impact, especially in the post.
Cons: Rollins offensive game isn't the most refined of his assets, so he will really only be able to contribute on one end of the court. More importantly, his upside is very limited, meaning that while he is a ready made post shot blocking machine, a good number of players in this draft will surpass Rollins' ability before a couple years go by. Whoever drafts Tree has to realize that while he might improve his offense a bit, he really is about as good as he is gonna get.
Overall: Tree Rollins might not be a superstar in the making, but he has all the skills and size necessary to be a poor man's Bill Spivey. That's not a bad prospect at all to lock up after the high upside guys have left the boards, especially if you already have scorers at the wings. Rollins will never be Imhoffs, but expect him to be a good rebounder and premier shot blocker early in his career.
Projection: #10-#13
