Love JULES AND JIM but I already have a Truffaut Collection.
I spent so much money on the last B&N Criterion sale that I didn't participate this time.
Last time I bought: RUSHMORE BICYCLE THIEVES MONSIEUR VERDOUX THE KID WITH A BIKE LONESOME THE PIERRE ETAIX COLLECTION
Love them all.

Bah, I wish I weren't a broke graduate student. I've been meaning to get into Tarkovsky and Godard forever.

I appreciate Godard's contributions and such but I prefer other European contemporaries of his such as Truffaut, Demy, Rossellini, Sirk, Passolini, Roeg, Kieslowski, etc.

Bah, I wish I weren't a broke graduate student. I've been meaning to get into Tarkovsky and Godard forever. Honestly, as nice as it is to own a lot of movies, Hulu Plus provides a massive amount of the Criterion collection...for those who are broke, getting access to their catalog for $7.99 a month is a steal.

Criterion sometimes opens up a few of their films for a month of free viewing on Hulu.
Good chance to see films you might not otherwise.
