If you are over the cap you can cut players to get under.
This deal expires when we get into coaches.

Yes.
80 million.
Most owners let you spend less though.

We can cut whomever we want if we are under cap too?

1. What happens if you exceed the team budget specified by the owner?
2. What is the minimum and maximum roster size? (For the maximum, how many players can/need to be deactivated?

If we are under the cap and we want to cut 1-2 players will they be amnestied? Or do we still cover that contract?

Roster min is 12.
Max is 15 once season starts. I think you can carry 18(?) in preseason. 16 at least..

Thanks for that, if you could also figure out what happens if we exceed the Owner budget that'd be great. I will have a look at the game.

Since we disabled all finances it looks like the owners budget isn't applicable even though there's a spot for it.. Not 100% sure but pretty sure.

Alright a few more questions. You say we have to be under the cap but where does it show your cap? Id assume team budget but mine says 87 mil and I add up all my contracts as well as my coach contracts and its only 82 mil.
If my cap is actually 87 million how do I know how much my coach is willing to spend? and where is the other 5 mil coming from?
Sorry if these are dumb questions but it doesn't really add up.
EDIT- This is also with Chuck nobles 7 million cap which isn't supposed to be on my team either, so it really, really doesn't add up.

If you are over the cap you can cut players to get under. This deal expires when we get into coaches. if we have disabled finances, is there anything to limit us from bidding whatever we'd like for them? I don't think coaches salaries are included in the cap total, but rather the total team budget total (which as i said we believe is non applicable due to finances being disabled)

Mabye we'll tie the staff salaries into the Hard Cap...

Not immediately.
We'll settle the coaches stuff over the next day or so and then we'll look to the preseason.

I drafted to stay under the hard cap for the players, as instructed. I didn't plan for the staff salaries as well.

I took a look, and its definitely not feasible without amnesty cutting players in my rotation. If you want to do this, potentially we can incorporate it after 2-3 seasons, to give teams time to adjust to their draft strategy.

Don't worry I've factored that in.
I've got a proposal to the committee just awaiting the vetting process.

Yeah, don't worry your pretty little head...the adults are handling this. Was that condescending enough?

So I passed all theses except one so far.
Detroit only had 10 guys and wanted to amnesty one. He was no where near the cap and had no reason to be cutting a guy so I rejected the cut.

I need 1 more guy to fill my roster, can we do these signings now?
Not that it matters, but would rather get it out of the way.
