What is the goal you've set for your team this season?
Are you going for broke or is your team already busted?
You don't wanna be stuck in the middle and I think I'm in the middle right now. I hope I drafted the right guys who can develop.

I plan to use this season as a sandbox to help me understand the game. I wouldn't mind making the playoffs in the process, but I wouldn't be completely disappointed if I didn't.
Lame, I know.

I'm really not sure what to expect. I wanted to draft to win and it seemed every time my pick came up the BPA was youth or potential. So now I don't know what to think. I've never had luck with being bad enough to land a top pick in the past so here comes a 35 win season and just bad enough to get a mediocre pick

Not sure what to expect either, but with Russell in tow, I feel a deep playoff run is a good starting goal.

Team Goals - Win less than 30 games or make playoffs (don't want to be stuck in no man's land)
- If winning less than 30 games, draft Oscar or Jerry
- If making playoffs, withstand 1st round
- Low salary structure for flexibility down the road
Player Goals
- Develop Vladimir Pistelak & Radivoj Korac

Since I'm still unsure of my roster other than Cousy, I'm just hoping to make the playoffs.

I am guessing deep playoff run. I have no idea, about the game itself. I am overloaded with Offence and can have some interesting looks. I am definately going to keep adjusting throughout the season.

Deep playoff run. But, I'm not going all-out because my team is only somewhat old and I don't know the game well enough, so if things fail, I'll at least have my pick.

I'm going to be honest.
I'm hoping to make the playoffs - that's it.
My team isn't designed to contend this year but in 2-3 we could be a real threat. Right now I want to build chemistry and set my team up for future success. So I'll probably be looking to make some trades.

I said deep playoff run, maybe championship? At this point it's hard to tell. My team is short an all star big but I feel I have a good defensive team, a balanced scoring team, one of a few that has some passers, and Stan Miasek could open it up for the rest of the guys. It all really depends on what other teams have on their roster and what's more important? Defense or all star big? I also drafted some youth so Im not really sold on championship but if my guys work well together I see no reason we can't go deep. Also there is a whole season of trades ahead of us.

What do I reasonably think this team might do? Probably the playoffs, hopefully a deal run. But what is the season goal? The championship...every season. Unless you are in full rebuild/tank mode, I can't think of any reason a team should be satisfied for shooting for anything less...any season that doesn't end with a trophy is a failure.

I sadly won't be the worst team but I do believe I am bottom 5. This is before trades at least.

Maybe for you I should have added "Win the 3pt Shootout" as an option

London is going to sit comfortable at the bottom of the standings alongside me. He just doesn't know it yet.

Going for the playoffs and seeing what happens from there. Think I could of done a better job with the drafting but think we have some talent on the team. After seeing what the guys can do once the season starts and a trade or two we should be in good shape I hope.

Maybe for you I should have added "Win the 3pt Shootout" as an option That's the only way teams win games these days in the NBA; spread the floor from 1-4
