I wondered, is there a way to know just with the online info, which players were in my team last year ? Pretty much have no idea about it as I took Athens after offseason. Have to use the game... or go thru each player and see...

If you look at one of your old boxscores you can see pretty much who was on your active roster last year. Also Luxury Tax, in theory, can be simulated in FBB3. But what is there to discourage a player from going into luxury tax? I mean we are playing with fictional money, so I wouldn't care if my owner's bill was a few extra million if I get the guy I want. In real life very few owners can afford to go deep into the luxury tax consistently, unless you have a billionaire russian owner.

Well luxury tax in FBB3 is simulated by an hard cap, but a different one for every team, depending on the market size, the fans loyalty, the owners greed/winning interest, etc.

Athens I can help you.
You have Full-Birds on: Jackie Bethards Herbert Kulik
You have these players last year under contract (so they can be re-signed to 120% of their previous salary): Ed Conlin Luke Cords Boo Ellis Burdette Haldorson Rudy Larusso Bernardo Leite Togo Palazzi Miroslav Skerik

That was my point that, you can't really emulate what the actual NBA has set in place, in any video game. That's why both FBB3 and NBA 2k both only have a hard cap, instead of a luxury tax threshold.

Done...and moved to the more appropriate board now that the actual date info in the thread isn't relevant any longer. I also went ahead and manipulated the initial post a bit to move the date info to the bottom of the post since it isn't important anymore for the FA info, but is still there for future reference in case someone needs it for any other reason.

Don't seem to be able to offer my MLE to anyone, can only offer them the min, is there a reason I'm missing? This seems obvious but did you change contract type from Normal to Mid Exception/Low Exception on the negotiation screen? With the Normal screen you can only make offers using whatever cap space you have, to use your exceptions you have to switch to the screens specifically for that.

This was my thought, but as you said, I thought it was too obvious.

In game it appears as a minimum until you fill the offer. Then MLE/LLE salaries will show up
