Funny.
I thought most negotiations started with both teams agreeing to terms, maybe that's just me...

I would have thought getting an offer of the #9 pick and a crap 1st in the future for Lenny Wilkins would have been a low ball offer, but I guess some low ball offers get mocked publicly and some get accepted and defended vigorously...

That 2017 1st is Berlin's right... makes the trade worthwhile! LOL

Wait, Zidek isn't on his team anymore, what did he get in return? George Mikan. Cool so I guess he is trying to win now. Really, he doesn't have Mikan? He must have gotten something to help him now if he traded youth to win now. No, he didn't? Then what did he get for Mikan? A draft pick. I guess it must have been a high one then to trade Mikan? It was the Huskies 1st. They must be a lousy team, how did they do last year? They finished with the 19th pick.

Berlins 2017 Huskies 2018
Those are picks I currently have. Let's ask Spurs how much value Lenny Wilkens has in this league... it isn't much at all.

Ridiculous statement alert...Wilkens HAS value, you just don't agree with what the value is. For you, if the guy doesn't have A and B across the board potential, the guy doesn't have value. Wilkens is a solid passing PG with A defense...he might not improve without someone putting some PP into him, but he still is a top 10 PG already.

Or ask people what they'd offer for him. He has value but it isn't what people SAY it is.

I don't know how someone can say it is hard to trade Lenny. He's been traded a few times and if you looked close enough you get a rough idea how much he is valued. I mean he's been traded for Zidek. After that he was a piece in a move for Cousy. Now I got him in a trade involving players and 1sts.
I am with everyone else here I like Lenny that is why I got him. He is the kind of poing I like, who can pass and defend. He isn't a scorer, but he is doing really well considering his attributes.
