Toronto by a lot. Not my concern. Nobody would get back to me or make me a legit offer. But I get to pick my piece now and make him fit.

Toronto by a lot...this is a monster trade for Seer, getting Cousy-lite entering his 2nd year in the league for a hugely discounted price.
BraZil, I've never understood the concept of being so desperate to make a deal that you just accept the worst of a bunch of bad offers. Wilkens was the #5 pick in the last draft, arguably should have gone higher, exceeded any and all expectations he could have had as a rookie, and you deal him for the #9 pick in a worse draft and a future 1st that won't likely be lotto? Guess who likely isn't getting a vote from me as GM of the year this season? I'll give you a hint...it rhymes with ShRazil.

Toronto by a lot.
Wilkens was a top 5 pick in a stronger draft and was a championship caliber PG as a rookie.
#9 in this draft won't be able to contribute as much and Berlin's pick is mediocre, at best.
Don't understand the logic behind this for Brasil at all, and I just voted for him as GMOTY.

DJ ShRazil was my old hip hop name, coincidentally.
This isn't even close. This is the kind of deal that if made by a less active or new GM (and if we had a trade committee) it would be challenged. Eeesh. Do not like this for Brazil.

Absolutely love this for Toronto. He turned A weak Wilt team into 3, Boozer, Bobrovsky, and Wilkens in one season. Good work Toronto, you should be a force soon enough.

This trade is only good if Brazil gets Love. Teams #1-8, please don't let that happen.

They have a few 3/4s and apparently are looking for outside shooting which is not Bob's strength. Defense is a need on that team but I don't think one guy will make a huge difference.

Maybe - just saw he traded Felix. But Love is a huge difference maker.

Yeah you might be right.
Would you play Love at the 4? I don't think it would but maybe it would work. He's a weird hybrid player who defends more perimeter but scores more in the post. Tough call.

This is something I am trying to figure out if would work tbh. As is, I can plug him at the 4 and put out the same lineup that made me a playoff team the first season except with way better defense and possible scoring from Love.

He's a heck of a talent. Just not sure the best way to use him. Try him all over, maybe you'll be surprised how well he performs. That or trade him to Chicago. He'd love Love.

Plenty of SF's don't have 3 point shots. Post defense is pretty important for small forwards too, in my opinion. He's the perfect Pippen to your poor-mans Jordan (Selvy)

Too bad I wasn't in town I really would have like to grab Wilkens. Concerning the trade, Wilkens is a franchise PG and I think at 9 you don't get the same calibre of talent. I have no idea why Brasil would make this deal. Wilekns to me is a guy you build around and not trade.

I thought it was. I got the best offer I could for Lenny. Just didn't want someone coming in here lying about what they "might" have offered had they seen it.

My first offer was shit, I don't contend that, however you should have realized I was interested in Wilkens and have 2 top 5 picks. You laughed in my face, you really think I wanted to talk to you after that. That is my biggest pet peeve. You never told me what you wanted or made a counter offer.
