Current Attributes - 198.23.129.72/freeagents.phpPotential Attributes - 198.23.129.72/freeagents_potential.phpRemember, come (hell or high water) Wednesday, be ready to select. You've got all the information you need at your fingertips. EDIT: FYI - those rankings aren't specific inside of BLUE (or any rating).
Meaning if you are BLUE you are #1 not that Elgin Baylor is that #1 ranked guy in the league. He is the first player listed in the draft file with BLUE potential. The HTML code he's pulling this from doesn't have the EXACT number of potential.
The sorting is only able to group all the As together, all the C+s together, etc. It doesn't know if someone has a 73 vs a 74.

Might be Thursday but you're right. That's the info if you don't have the game.

Have anything else you want done? Off-site participation points (hosted on my server - editable by Corey)? Depth charts? Etc.

I think that is determined by where they are drafted.
Not sure though.
I gave every player 3 bird years (at least) to start the game so hopefully you can re-sign anyone you draft.

Added sorting by player boxes. Now you can see who's blue, green, yellow, etc.

FYI - those rankings aren't specific inside of BLUE (or any rating).
Meaning if you are BLUE you are given a value of '1' not that Elgin Baylor is that #1 ranked guy in the league. He is the first player listed in the draft file amongst almost 30 who are given a value of '1'. The HTML code he's pulling this from doesn't have the EXACT number of potential.
The sorting is only able to group all the A's together, all the C+'s together, etc. It doesn't know if someone has a 73 vs a 74.

Which is good, because we wouldn't want things to be too easy here...I can't wait to see who makes the first truly awful pick in the first round, grabbing someone who clearly is a 4th round talent.

Question about potential - if someone has a grade of B but a potential of F, and they are young, does that mean they are going to start declining?

potential is random.

Only thing that sucks is I can't figure out how to float the table header (the Ins, 3pt, etc.) labels at the top of the page when you scroll...so you can know what rating you're looking at for each player. lol

I know whether a player reaches a higher potential is random, but I am confused why some young players have potential ratings far below their current ratings. Are current ratings "scouted" to any degree? In FBB1, the lower the potential (which was just 1 overall grade), the quicker the player would get worse.

@new York No problem. Glad people are finding it useful.
UPDATE: Added a floating menu at the top that displays all the ratings for players even when you scroll down the page. This way, you don't have to memorize the order of the attributes or scroll to the top to figure out which column each attribute is located on.
Let me know if you have other requests. Don't have much time these upcoming few days, but this was relatively simple to implement.

This is very helpful. I would also highly recommend exporting this into excel and running some lookups to give the letter grades actual values. I found it to be very helpful in analyzing the entire draft population and positional scarcity.

I found it to be very helpful in analyzing the entire draft population and positional scarcity. That's a good suggestion. It's worth trying to build, but what I currently do is read-in the HTML version of the free agents page, use PHP to run through the content and make changes to it, then use JavaScript to insert the sorting methods. Using a comma-delimited file may be worth doing and may be something I implement for the upcoming draft. However, it would suck in one way: a very decreased ratio of busts...
