Nevermind...according to the GS listing, the game started him every game, against my settings....again. Any explanation John? Why do I bother putting in a DC if it is going to keep overruling my settings? Because the update hasn't come down from HR yet. It should today/tomorrow so next sim will be fine. I hope so...I think it's crap that so far we haven't been able to actually run our team as we like...I DEMAND A RECOUNT! Bianci has looked very stud-like so far though...

6-2 pretty solid start. stokes is a stud, vern solid, and im eager tos see how ivo develops.. Stokes does look very good indeed (was one of the first two players of the week)...personally, I like your team splits as well. You own your home court, but you absolutely got worked on the road...will be interesting to see if that trend continues.

5-1 start for your London Towers. I expect to more or less go .500 the rest of the way so this is a great start for us! Boozer is #9 in RPG. Luisetti is #5 in scoring and Max Z is #14. Pretty lofty numbers to maintain for the whole season. Honestly, I see no stats that are outrageous or outlandish...everything seems sustainable with your current roster. You are the only one who thinks your team won't be top 5 or 6 this year.

Started 6-1 albeit all of them were home games. Mihai Nedef is shooting the damn lights out. 54.7% from the floor and 58.1% from 3 shooting 4.4 3s a game. Suck it. More importantly, your team absolutely owns defensively...that should help keep your team winning more than your shooting will.

Terrible shooting percentage plus awful defense really killed the team during the first sim...I still have faith that with your talent you'll turn things around. If you don't, I have several players on your roster I'd like to see on mine...

Err. Tom Heinsohn is putting up 21ppg as a non option. Bernardo Leite is putting up 17ppg as a non option. Bailey Howell has dropped to 11pg as my #2 option. Oh and we suck... I'm lost - Need to buy the game and play around with these settings. Don't put too much faith in settings...the game will change your lineup and options if it disagrees with how you set your starting lineup. Apparently that is supposed to be corrected in the next patch, but I can see that factoring into your settings with how you set things up.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong with my defense? In preseason I played mostly man and zone - and gave up 105ppg Now I tried trap and zone and gave up 115ppg

Nothing will save your team. Trade them all to me.

I have to say I am very pleased. 6-1 with an 8ppg differential, and I'm missing one of my better players in McKinney. Dutch Dennert has been looking like a late round steal in the draft. I have to decide if I want to keep him starting, but I like the idea of him being a super 6th man when Bones comes back.
What's more I beat some solid teams, including the Knicks twice, who are otherwise 4-1.

So you guys traditionally don't do live sims? In my past leagues we've always had live sims on AIM and could send in changes to our settings after each game (within reason).
It was pretty fun to be a part of and added some nice activity to the league.

Even in the past when we did live sims in Global, we never did changes to the settings or lineup except possibly in the Finals...having teams sending changes each day in a chat with a bunch of other people chirping in would be bedlum

Ugh how did we go 4-2? That's not enough losing, and I think I'd be better off with Duarte starting instead of Valle. His +/- is much better in most games but then I fear nobody on my team would score
Kinda cool that my guy is leading the league in scoring after one sim though. Two in the top 16 in rebounding as well.

A good 6-3 start from us. Pretty happy with how the team played, think we have a well rounded team.

I went 4-2 and I'm currently the division leader, so that's a nice surprise. Highlights: - We rank sixth in the league in scoring at 103.7 PPG -- and we are doing this on a .493 FG%, 2nd in the league.
- ... but we rank 19th in points allowed, giving up 99.2 PPG.
- We rank 5th in the league in assists in a league that doesn't pass well. I like that.
- Nikolic's playing well now? Nikolic's playing well now. 17.3 PPG and 5.7 APG for a guy that was struggling in pre-season. Turnovers are a bit high at this point so hopefully I can find a way to limit that.
- Al Heerdt, 8th round pickup, averaging 9.8 PPG in 19.8 MPG off the bench.

Swoosh is right, it'd be mayhem.

I'd love to be a good team but I am trying to be realistic about my teams strengths and weaknesses. There are certainly better teams out there than London.

It's just one sim but my team is leading the league in many of the categories regarding my opponents performance. I'm also leading in points allowed (80.9) and Chicago is 2nd with 85.9

Extremely happy with my first sim with a do I created. We are in the hunt for the playoffs which is more than I could have hoped for. Salvador Sotiri is an absolute stud. He averaged almost 26 a game while shooting 48 percent. Best part is that he is only 25 years old. Ill take it.

Liking how both of my picks are shaping up. Hate to be reveling in Toronto's lack of success, but thems the breaks when I have your pick.

Well starting the season out with a loss followed by a win then 2 losses then finished the sim out with a three game winning streak. Beating Beijing, Madrid, Limoges, and 76ers. Janos Bencze is playing great averaging a double double. Sitting in second place in the Western Division should be interesting to see if this team can keep it going?
