Dave Gambee Jimmy Jones Jay Arnette Billy Knight Jaroslav Pstrokonski 2020 Toronto 1st
for
Rafael Valle Weldon Smith Harvey Catchings 2021 Milan 1st
---------------------------
Let's talk about this trade.
I don't get it.
I also don't get how Milan's reason was "I gain a pick" when in fact he is likely losing a much better pick.

Agreed. Losing pick position if anything and gaining a player in Gambee who won't be re-signed it would seem. Maybe Knight will turn out?

Also, your poll is hilarious. Am I right or am I right?

This is the worst trade I've seen in quite a while. ABSOLUTELY 0 reason for Milan to do this, they are a terrible team without their pick this season so they won't add a star to the mix, they just resigned two players for close to double what they may be worth at this point, and they give away gold in their 21 1st for a shitty 1st next season? and Dave Fucking Gambee? Was I the only person who had 0 interest in Gambee in the offseason? No I wasn't, it's the reason that nobody else signed him. He might be the worst B/B player in league history. There is no reasoning that I can see that would make this a good deal. Stupid trade

Giving up a first for Costello was bad but giving up a first for this package?
Milan is the gift that keeps on giving to Chicago.

Am I the only one that was okay in math? Giving one to get one is not GAINING in any way. Especially when one pick is almost 100% lotto and the other is on a team led by KAJ

Wow. Someone fell for one of Chicago's "help me by making you worse off" offers? Damn. Milan has a slight chance of winning this if Billy Knight turns into something, but damn. I really don't understand his reasoning. He thought he was getting a pick and getting better talent, but he just traded a lottery pick for a mid-first at best and scrubs. Ouch.

Conley doesn't play D and he's 30+ while at least Emiliano is 27.

Yeah he's a unique offensive piece but he is a below-average rebounder who doesn't play D and can't move because he is nonathletic.

Conley is the only PF in the league who hits 3 well and often and does that at an insane percentage. Very good matchup advantage. His PER has always ranged near 20 and it's still at 16 this year while being the best option on a crap team. His defense is not great but he's a good rebounder. Conley is unique. I would have loved to have him while I was competing. Rodriguez is similar to 50 players in the league, and doesn't play defense either.

Thanks for confirming what I said - "he's a unique offensive piece." He's not a good rebounder. 7.4 rpg isn't cutting it. Yeah, of course you would have loved to have him while competing, that would have been 2-3 years ago when he was good. Not saying Emiliano is great but he's not worse than Conley. You underrate his athletic deficiencies. I'd give up more for Emiliano than Gene.

But anyway, we are getting off topic about how bad this trade is for Milan.

Yet another setback for Milan. I dont understand why they keep moving their picks when they aren't even close to being competitive.
