I'm bumping this because I recently read Dean Oliver's Basketball on Paper. I thought it was a really interesting read that you guys might like, especially if you're into advanced statistics.

Got the Game of Thrones series for Christmas. The first one is excellent so far, have about 150 pages left. I'm impressed with how well the show stayed true to the book in the first season. A few different things here and there but overall it's been pretty spot on.

I'm currently reading Tripwire by Lee Childs as I slowly start working my way through the Jack Reacher series of books. I got a few Amazon gift cards for Christmas, so I've been buying up a ton of books on my Kindle, but I've been behind on my reading with all the holiday non-sense. Things should be getting back to normal soon.

I'm reading Erika Hall's "Just Enough Research," which is crucial for anyone in the web development, design or strategy field.
I also got The Complete Calvin and Hobbes. Because I'm still a child.

I just read a book that was published this year. This is rare for me.
It was ?uestlove's memoir. It was fantastic. I'd recommend it to anyone, but I'd especially recommend it to anyone who like music or hip hop specifically.
I thought Corey mentioned it on here. Now I'm forgetting who told me to read it.

Don't give Corey too much credit, then he'll start coming around talking about things like the Miami Dolphins, Reggie Miller, his love of John and we just don't need any of that anymore...

I'm reading a collection of Hawkeye (of Marvel fame) comics.
It's by some guy named Fraction and it's pretty good.
A mutual friend of some of ours (Stadley) gave me a bunch for Christmas and it's a cool medium to be getting into. I read the Scott Pilgrim series before (which is very good) but it's different than those.
I dig this because Hawkeye is being explored as a human with great technique rather than the son of Odin (Thor) or a supercharged solider (Cap). It's probably along the lines of Frank Millers Dark Knight series but nowhere near as iconic as those. I didn't read Millers take on old Batman but I am digging this every man Avenger stuff with Hawkeye.

That's really cool you're still in touch with Stadley. He was cool.

That's really cool you're still in touch with Stadley. He was cool. Yeah, he comes with my wife and I to virtually every movie we see in St Cloud (which is a lot). We also go to concerts with him. I'd say we see Stads about every 2-3 weeks.

I just read the Diary of a Young Girl.
And without going all NMH! NMH! ITAOTS! ITAOTS! on you, it was an incredible read.
Definitely a new favorite.
